So the President Gets Fired.
FT Quits, and now the VP is bailing.

Whats going on over there?

I hear everyone is leaving and there not replacing the attrition?

Any Truth

No one's leaving from mgt. that will be missed.

As for attrition, we needed to hit 12 or so guys taking the early buy out before we reached a point where we needed to look at hiring again. We have surpassed that number when you add in people taking the recalls to AA or moving on to another job, but I don't think slow death really describes the situation.

We're just treading water, but that's all we were told to expect this year, and I rather like the new Prez. She seems to get it.

Agreed!

It's a good thing. The company is changing strategy. I've been real impressed with the new boss. However I believe we will lose quite a few fo's and ca's to the airlines and such. As far as laying off more, I don't see how. We are already doing a ton of long repositions because a lot of uncrewed AC sitting around.

supposedly 15 guys leaving this month for greener pastures..also, I hear there have been a lot of requests for PRIA records(a lot more than just the 15). It might get real interesting soon. Most guys I know at flex are ready to drop that place like a prom dress!

One CL300 captain is leaving for a Global Express position at EJM.. We had a chat yesterday, he sat next to me on an airline

I heard that as a rumor two rotations ago. Thanks for the confirmation.

A "slow death" because we're so short handed. Long duty hours and minimum rest are now the new way of life at flex.

Why are guys at Flex wearing prom dresses? I mean, I know why DirtyBeech wears a prom dress. Did he get the rest of y'all to do that to?

Start dropping F bombs. They'll get the point. This place has always worked on the uncle principle.

Excellent. A change in strategy should do the trick. Just ask the CA guys how that worked out.

I will be interested to see how many guys go back when the time comes. I won't be going and most everyone I have talked to has said the same.

How bout their new program to pair training deficient pilots with competent ones? How bout just get rid of them. I guarantee these are the same guys that everyone calls in sick because they're paired with a tool..punish me now because in proficient?! WTF!

Apparently, Im not a proficient proof reader..I'm**

I like that...I didn't know you could post and quote yourself!!!

It's kinda like me talking to myself...slick...that's better than watching Anderson Cooper at the Vatican talking to a couple of priests about weird sex...I'm sure he could teach them a thing or two! There I go again...talking to myself.

You misread the email. It didn't say proficient. It said flatulent. That way, it's not just the other guy's flying that stinks.

So guys are leaving to be recalled at AA and other airlines and they are not replacing those who have left? PRIA's going out and retirements. How many pilot are still at FJ? I would take recall but I actually liked it here/there.

RW

Rouge, that is a good question. I am not sure how many are left on the list. Hopefully they will update soon. I see a few people posting on the internal asking for an update.

It's all part of Net Jet's and Bombardiers plan and the orders with Bombardier.

yeap that's it, you got it

Netjets and Bombardier executives have been meeting in a secret bunker to plan flexjet's demise

tonight Hansell is bringing chips and guacamole.

Sorry guys, same thing happened to us a CA. NJ places an order with Bomardier and Cessna and we suddenly start winding down and now you guys are. I'm sure there was a deal struck to get rid of the competition. They keep saying here at CA there trying to make it doing Jet Management and Charter, if it works we are going to be very small, about 30% our original size. Regardless, I'm in the 70 on our list and I'll leave in a heartbeat if any of the Airlines call me for an interview. Good luck to all involved. I think NJ needs 5 crew meals a day instead of 3, LOL.

What about Flight Opts taking over Flex?

There have been rumors on the road. The Lears and Challengers 300's are now aged to perfection which FO likes.

Directional Capital and Flexjet reps flew into Atlanta's PDK airport this past week for meetings. Sounds like Ken Ricci wants Flex. If it happens and they merge it doesn't sound good for the Flexjet pilots who are non-union.

Source?

Signature PDK - call them and ask them yourself.

Can you see the trend with manufacturers running programs?

Raytheon's Travel Air - Gone

Cessna's Citation Air - Going

Bombardier Flexjet - Next
