Not trying to be antagonistic, if you read my post you'll see there's nothing about a visual, only about going missed when unnecessary, thus causing delays for folks trying to get their passengers to their destination so they can do their job, which allows others to keep theirs in this tough economy.
Believe it or not, some corporations depend on aviation for their survival, and a whole lot of middle class working folks depend on that corporation to put food on the table. While you're shooting approaches and going missed when the weather is 1000/3, we're sitting on the ground waiting, our folks are wasting their time, and our competitors are capitalizing on this. Hence, we miss out on business opportunities, workers get laid off, families do without, local retailers go under.... all so you can shoot a frigging approach and go missed just to do it again. That's what sim's are for. You know what, if you can't shoot an ILS down to min's you need to quit and go find something you're good at.
