Did I mention we will be paid HIGHER than the utopia southwest !

When does Song's rates match ours? Three years from now right? Say it ain't so Scoot!

Oh that's right, you paid from them with your PROFIT SHARING. Pretty embarrassing trade off.

So do your work rules, pay and benefits, but lay it all on scope...
You're too funny. Somewhere a village is looking for you!

Village...Idiot... Oh I get it! Did you make that up all by yourself? It's true-our contract sucks. Negotiated after 9-11 with the bankruptcy gun to our heads, and a corrupt NC who all work for management now. Passed by 58%. The 58%ers are idiots too. Delta is a healthy, profitable airline. What's your excuse for the scope concessions? I guess it was too much to hope that DAL pilots wouldn't give another inch on large RJs. This has no doubt given our management leverage to force large RJs down our throats. Hence my frustration.

I just can't believe we have that many sell outs at Delta. I can only offer my personal apology for this disaster.

Enjoy your engine failures, my Popeye's crumbs, crusty boogers and various body fluids. We'll be sure to send 'em right over...nice and used, with seats smelling of only the freshest of farts. Enjoy!:D

Boeing will actually take them first, clean them up, paint them, put in new seats, and install wifi. I believe your new owner may also be paying DL money per month or per year to take them off of their hands. Sounds like a great deal, minus your boogers.

Bye Bye----General Lee

The profit sharing reduction might occur starting in 2014 (check comes on Feb 14th each year), but if profits go gangbusters, then the profit sharing will actually increase (15% up to 20%).

But enough about that, how's your stagnation going? How many AirTran guys are ahead of you? Good for them.

That is funny stuff...

I'll let the F/O know about the boogers, figuring you never got the chance to fly from the pilots seat.

Song? Did you really say that? Did mom and dad help you with that one, or was it tanker clown?
Yup, and none of us had to pay to work here, matter of fact, all of us got PAID to receive our types.

So is your retirement, or lack thereof. So is the fact that you charge employees to work there. So is your infatuation over us. But flattering nonetheless. BTW, are you off reserve yet? Maybe in 20-25 years?
It must be real frustrating knowing that 1700+ Air Tran pilots got hired WITHOUT having to buy their jobs, and most of them are now seated IN FRONT OF YOU on the seniority list.:smash:
No wonder you're a bitter little troll!

And look at the damage you sellouts did during your BK. Sold out your pensions so the rest of us had to fall in line. Thanks for the sellout! What's your excuse for not having a contract now? How many years have you been out of BK? How long since SOC?
Your frustration is misguided! Look no further than your mirror!

Enjoy your SW stagnation, and staple. Maybe by the time you retire, you'll be off reserve!:D

Actually, I'm young. I'll still retire in the top 20 at SWA, but thanks for your concern!

The post was a lighthearted joke. Take it as such and go enjoy life...and all the free Hyatt Place pens you'll find. ;)

Genital,

Actually, I'm glad you asked. I'm knocking it out of the park this summer. The savings account is filling up nicely...thanks for asking. And at pay rates you guys still hope to get.

Scoot,

Same thing. Thanks for asking. I've been off reserve for over three years and I just got another 15/hr pay raise. I'm glad the AAI guys are coming over with possiblity of making even MORE profit sharing for all of us. You see, we have no cap on that. If it comes in at 10%, 15%, whatever. And that's on top of 9.3% company match. It's June 29th and I've already maxed out my portion of 17k.

How are you doing?

I have to completely agree with ATLplt here, we together will be better off now that the 717 and the engine problems are headed over to DL. Good luck with that. Welcome aboard ATLplt.

Why would I be bitter? I doing pretty well (see above) Just glad I don't have to wait for takeoff behind a long line of RJs that someone else flies for us. Thank God. That would drive me crazy.

IDIOTS!!!! Thanks for screwing over the rest of the industry.

Sincerely,
A UCAL pilot

Yep, you are right. You guys are the gold standard and we should watch everything you do. What a great example of how to get along as a pilot group.

I'm tired of guys like you quipping in from the sidelines. When you raise the bar on your own maybe then you can chime in about pilots at another airline. If we did it your way, we would still be embroiled in contract negotiations, not to mention a bloody SLI negotiation. Again, when you fix all that, come on back and chime in.

In the meantime, when you get your facts straight and educate yourself with what we actually got in this TA, maybe you will change your tune.

I voted no. I feel like the union scared a lot of people into voting yes. I also have a feeling they'll come back to us in 3 years saying they'll get rid of the remaining 50 seaters if we will allow 90 seaters at the regionals-oh and we'll get 10 new 777's at mainline. works every time. aside from the scope I was very disappointed in the work rule changes.

Is that what happened in the joint contract with NWA? This TA was voted in because it was a good deal for a 3 year contract, that dumped more than 200 50 seat RJs leaving us with a total of 148 fewer RJs overall, and it added 88 717s. With the other guys like AA and UCAL not having their %#£* together, it was a pretty good jump upwards, leaving those other guys still way behind.

yes, well, the bigger RJ's we just caved on will prolong the regionals' existence. dont get mad next time you see a bunch of RJ's in the money line in ATL. like I said, scope was a big thing for me, but bigger than that were the work rule concessions. we aren't in bankruptcy here.

It just cracks me up to listen to Genital Lee's tripe about how it was ok to cave on scope this time. After all his rhetoric about standing firm on scope he sold out quicker than a Thai hooker.
