The real surprise will be if DAL actually gets the gates. SWA won't want DAL adding these flights or getting these gates, and DOJ didn't peel them away from AA with any other airline in mind but SWA getting them.
Except you didn't read the agreement SWA has with LUV airfield did you?

Continental never did stop flying at least an RJ size airplane in there. Looked at the res app and we're doing IAH DAL 7 times today. Who pulled out of that route? That would be SWA. And it was indeed a butt whipping.
This is going to be fun to watch.
You have an unwavering penchant against anything SWA. UAL still burning cash like it was going out of style?:bawling:

I'll see your 7 flights and raise it to 25 daily flights in a full-size jet each way between HOU and DAL. Butt whipping, hardly.:D

Real fun to work for a legacy in this Country. Can not believe the DOJ feels this is a fair characterization of legacy airlines.

Justice official William Baer, who headed DOJ?s lawsuit, made it clear Tuesday that the agency wants low-cost carriers to get the airport gates that American and US Airways must divest, as well as takeoff and landing slots that must be sold at LaGuardia and Washington Reagan National Airport.
?We see legacy carriers ? and our complaint issued in August makes this pretty clear ? as part of the problem. We see low-cost carriers as a key part of the solution,? Baer told reporters.
Asked if so-called ?legacy? carriers Delta and United should bother applying, Baer replied: ?That?s up to them. But the [settlement] papers make it pretty clear where we think these gates and slots need to go in order to improve on a competitive dynamic today, which is not as healthy as it could be.?

Hey Flop,

Still waiting for you to produce the schedule between Hobby and Hopkins that had flights that ran every hour that was operated by continental. You know the schedule that you said put the beat down on Southwest.

Your recollection of history is so full of ********************.

Back up your facts...We all know you can't.

It's taken time, but almost everything we've argued about is becoming clear. SWA is a war and terror profiteer, that absent back room Texas airport deals, doesn't offer too much and would have never gone real far without.
