All of my friends are getting bumped out of their bases(LAX,SLC) back to Atlanta.

There is no source as nothing has been published yet. This is all speculation and heresay but I bet the 'plans' will be announced pretty soon. I suspect for the December bid we will all know more.
How about hiring somebody to teach Delta how to get jetways to the aircraft in less than 5 minutes? They are always parked about 75' away from the airplane, taking forever to drive up after the plane has stopped. Keep 'em closer like SWA does and save a few minutes of jetway driving time. I flew four legs as a revenue passenger in the last couple of weeks and it always seemed like it took forever. SWA usually does it inside of 45 seconds. They could save 10 minutes a turn if the darn jetway wasn't parked a milliuon miles away! What a production to watch that thing get driven so far every time!
Understand - there may be a net positive for MSP in this bid. Bid should be out within a couple weeks.
