they seem to be changing the CVG domestic category to the INTL "ER" category.

Who will do the domestic 757/767 flying? Can ER pilots fly domestic, or are they only allowed to fly internationally?

I seem to remember hearing that the categories were split up, which requires more pilots (reserves.) Could this be the beginning of DAL putting all 757/767 pilots into the same category (meaning less reserves required?)

Or are a proportional number of airframes being shifted to international flying?

Just curious, why doesn't DL put out an AE every month? which is what we do here at AA.

It would not be as exciting. We would not get our own Y I P P E E ! thread on Flight Info.

Does this mean fewer 6 day trips out of Atlanta on the ER with 24 CVG layovers in the middle?

I would think so. But, we also have an ER base in JFK, and we have plenty of 6 days starting in ATL with a Manhattan layover in the middle.

One thing I noticed is that the Project Staffing requirements vs the Projected Staffing requirements based on this AE show a surplus of 306 positions.

Interesting.....

Six days are not too bad. You only fly four of them, and get 31.5 hrs of credit. Not bad if you like to sit around.

Don`t confuse the 22d2 reprt with the 22d3 report. One is contractual staffing-which they could never run the airline with- and the other is actual staffing(minus sloa, mloa etc).

6 days? No Thank YOU!!!

2 6 days can equal 80 hours. That means 18 days off a month. I have heard NWA has some 12 day trips to Asia, and then 18 days off in a row. What? Somebody will actually miss you? Is it John McCain or Sarah Palin? That suks.

Bye Bye--General Lee
