They are going straight to hell!!!
[/QUOTE]The good ones do.
[QUOTE absolutely, that is why I try not to criticize my fellow doctors and instead try to learn from these events. I thought to myself, If only pilots would have the same philosophy
Why not label taxiways as taxiways from an aerial perspective so this doesn't happen again? It's easy to mark a runway 9L in white. Why not label a parallel taxiway as T A X I in yellow? Either that or put a big X just short of where it begins...
Because Sen Larry Craig hangs in the 'E' bathrooms....![]()
Yeah PHEW "Finally"!!!!.....Now people will fly Critter more..... YAY!!
My problem with the double breasted suit is that you have to button the jacket or it looks stupid. With a regular blazer, you don't have to walk around with it buttoned up all the time. But then again, 2 Delta pilots were just given a second chance at life. So I guess, there are bigger issues than wearing double-breasted suits. We now have to make sure all Delta pilots are aware of the differences between white and blue lights, and how to properly identify runway markings vs. taxiway markings. The skill and credibility of the pilots at Delta are eroding away very quickly. Where are the Sulley's at Delta? I guess Cactus has all the heroes.
Is taxiway "M" at least parallel to the intended runway?
Yes, in fact it was utilized as the runway a few years back while the runway was being redone.
WRONG....M was never utilized as a runway....
"R" was used. South of 27L. Only cargo and NW maint hangar were southe of it back then (before rwy 10-28). I may be wrong, but I believe it was only used as a runway for turboprop A/C and not RJ or bigger.
As long as you're not parked on that taxiway......No Problem!
Give 'em a break.. things are better now.. they landed at the right airport.
June 20, 1980 - A Delta Air Lines 727, bound for Tampa, Florida, mistakenly landed at MacDill Air Force Base (a few miles away).
Atleast they landed in the right city, didn't a Northwest or Continental Crew land in the wrong country some years ago?
