It's amazing how tough people can be when they hide behind their computers. Next time you're at a Signature, why don't you come upto one of us and repeat what you said in the other thread. Better yet, say it to one of us at the hotel when we're off duty.

Look guys and gals, I'm not trying to come across like a jerk but this guy has it coming. I'm looking for guys that wnat to make some side money. $350 a day with all expenses isn't bad for a King Air. I talked to a few guys over the last couple of days and that's the average daily rate.

As far as AVBUG, he saw my original post a few days ago when I first posted this and I wrote that it would be $1500 a month. I ALSO wrote that it would be around 3 to 4 days worth of work. But since we never know when it's going to be more, I changed it to a daily rate of 350.

You're a model citizen, aren't you? I can see that anybody would be thrilled to go to work for you. Heck, you're such a warm soul that most folks would do it for nothing, just to spend time basking in your opulence. My, you're quite the brightspark, aren't you?

As far as pushing buttons, no, I haven't. You push your own. I have commented in three threads in which you commented. The first was identical to this, you posting a job in a King Air in Naples, and offering fifteen hundred dollars a month. In that post, as I have recently read, you recanted that offer, and thanked me for noting the low pay. You didn't seem to think I was trying to push your buttons then, did you?

Not having seen the changes you made to that post, I replied to this one, in which you again solicited help. You could merely have stated that the money had changed, and moved on, but you didn't do that, did you? You started making threats, throwing a childish tantrum...just like you did in the third thread to which I replied.

In that thread, you didn't like what a poster had to say about your sniveling union garbage, and like so typically happens at pilot lounges and Signatures everywhere that Nejet pilots congregate, the ugliness began.

You weren't content with that, so now you drag threats to this thread, too. Don't like what you hear, then make up your own reality, and invite the class for a genuine down home ass whooping by the flagpole after school, is that it?

Next time you're at a Signature, why don't you come upto one of us and repeat what you said in the other thread. Better yet, say it to one of us at the hotel when we're off duty.

That's a bet you don't want to take...you'd lose on both counts. You wouldn't be the first netjet pilot on the road I've told to shut up and stop whining, on and off duty. As far as you meeting me off duty, that's a place you really don't want to go.

King Air B200 Job In Naples, Fl
Hello fellow aviators. I manage a King Air B200 in Naples, FL and I'm currently looking for a piot who can cover the schedule while I'm away on tour for my other job. Job would consist of BEING AVAILABLE the weeks that I'm gone.
This is a cake job. The owner doesn't fly a lot but I need someone who I can count on to be there if I'm not there. In all reality, you'd probably fly 4 or 5 days a month.

Pay will depend on your availability and flight times.

Requirements:

2000 TOTAL
500 MULTI
KING AIR TIME... PRICELESS.

But this place isn't any different from any other forum. For the most part, it's a bunch of idiots acting tough. I have a proble with one person on here and you choose to jump in and question what kind of person I am? Give me a break. If you posted a thread looking for some guys to work with and some asshole comes along and makes smartass comments, and then follows you around to every post you reply to and keeps making comments, you'd do the same thing and you know it. You have no idea what kind of person I am. I'm accually a lot of fun to work with because I make damn sure that all my guys are very well taken care of. I made a mistake and posted that I'd pay $1500 for a pilot to work PART TIME. That's 4 to 5 days a month. That comes out to $300 a day which is very reasonable for a King Air. This guy makes a big deal out of it and tries to make it seem as if I'm trying to cheat someone out of what they're worth. $1500 for up to 5 days of flying isn't bad at all. That what this whole thing comes down to. I'm sorry you don't think so.

You're not getting the point. Avbug's attitude has nothing to do with it. What he may or may not have done has nothing to do with it. It's not because some "asshole comes along and makes smartass comments", that you have to act the way you did. If you perceive that a passenger is disrespectful to you, are you going to be disrespectful to him?

As I said before, you presented a professional working opportunity, but in the same thread acted like a teenage girl fighting over nothing. I'm glad you got some people to fill the job. Next time you place an add, state that question will only be answered by PM. This way if any one ask any tough questions, you can ignore them. Just make sure you keep you mouth shut this way you won't get into situations like these where you can't win (not that you'd want to win it anyways )

Actually, we have a really good idea what kind of person you are. The kind of person that flies off the handle making threats...just like this one...

Tell you what. If you're such a tough guy, why don't you email me your name. Just your name, nothing else. But you have to be honest about it. That way, when your airplane gets sold out from underneath you because your boss decided to goto to NetJets or dies, or goes out of business.... I'll remember your name when you apply and come in for an interview. You see, this is a small industry. We all win run into one another someday. That's not true at all. It has nothing to do with the fact that it's in FL. I called around to approx. 10 King Air operators that I know through friends that are located in different parts of the US. The highest daily rate I found was $450 and the lowest was $200. Now granted, $200 is way too low but $450 was from a guy who has over 9,000 hours in a B200. For that amount, he also pays for his own meals. I'm offering $350 with all expenses included. All together, I end up paying out about $400 a day. Again, that's not bad at all. The owner has also stated that the pilot will get a $100 tip for every trip/day. I'm sorry, but a guy who flies a King Air for one day and walks away with $450 in his pocket and gets taken care of as far as food, hotels, and rental cars... it"s not a bad deal at all. I have two guys that fly King Airs up in Orlando (3 hrs away) and they're excited about driving down and helping out. They're not new to this and they think it's a great deal. I am trying to make this as fair as possible for everybody involved.

Like I said before, I'm not looking for a full time guy. I'm looking for someone who may want to fly a couple days a month and make some extra beer money or a car payment. Nothing too back breaking.

I just can't see where this has turned into such a big deal. Bottom line is that I have found some really good guys to help out so I'm done here with this post. To all that called, thank you for your willingness to help out. To those who have a problem with the way I handled myself with AVBUG, I'm sorry but I just don't put up with crap like that. I don't have to.

I told you after you changed the offering that I didn't have a problem with the price...but you wouldn't let it go, started threatening me, threatening others. Sounds like a first class owner and judging by your responses, your attitude, etc, I am sure many would be extremely thrilled to have such the opportunity present day. You surely must be swamped by the emails, phone calls, etc, so I am sure you won't have any problem whatsoever filling such a magnificant position.

The owner normaly makes his plans about two weeks in advance. There has been one time where he called me late in the afternoon wanting to go golfing the next morning. Wasn't a problem because I was in town. This isn't your normal everyday owner. He uses this airplane once in a while and only for fun. Right now, I have 3 guys in town and 1 guy out of town that are flying it when I'm gone. That's more than enough concidering the fact that the airplane doesn't fly every week that I'm out of town.

It was at THAT point that YOU made the comment about me being a NetJets pilot and that I should leave this forum and join a picket line somewhere. What was the point of making that comment?
