Time for bygones and to try to help out fellow ALPA members.

If ALPA history indicates anything, don't expect much. You will most likely get a free 6 month subscription to Airinc (or whatever they are called now) and a workbook that helps you prepare for airline interviews.

As some have said on here,"good thing there is a pilot shortage coming" and "just in time for the next hiring boom." All bunk.

99 months would be over 8 years, lol. You get unemployment for 99 weeks, not months. That's less than two years.

There is a cap on how much you get. It runs out once you hit the benefit limit. I just looked at Kentucky and it is 26 weeks or 1/3 of your total based pay...whichever comes first.

What? They have recognized that 50 seaters don't work anymore.

Bye Bye--General Lee

General

I suspect your attitude would be a little different if Big D decided to dispose of their inefficient 737's and out sourced their flying to Republic E170's.

Have a little sympathy.

It's a matter of time.
