I almost flipped out watching CNN. They had a "veteran" pilot talking about how he believes this might be a CG error due to the increased amount of luggage on the airplanes with the security issues. I seriously wanted to call CNN and give them an ear full, but whatever. God bless.

John Regas. He posts on this board as jondc9 or something like that.

Obviously too soon to speculate, but wx could have been a contributing factor.

Obviously too soon to speculate, but that won't stop us, will it?

When will it be a good time to speculate, after the funerals?

Msnbc

MSNBC says they are focusing on the fact that the airplane may have taken off of 26 and the runway may have been dark.

GOD BLESS you

The news media is ridiculously irresponsible with their lack of knowledge.

Everyone is an Armchair quarterback. Lets not forget that none of us are "perfect" and no one knows what happened on that flight deck except the crew. Cant we just put our egos on the ledge for one day and pray for their families? We will all find out soon enough in the following months what happened. For now, lets just "chill out" and enjoy watching the media make asses out of themselves.
God bless.....

I worked there for 2 years, the entrance they are using off Versailles Rd to get to the accident would only make sense if they departed 26! One survivor in critical condition

Comair news conference at 10am ET. Very sad. God bless the families.

anyone know who the pilots were???? Abunch of us old cmr folks trying to find out.

No, SBS is down.

Random question... what is Comair's two letter code?

Guys,

Let's hold off on the armchair crash investigation for now.

My prayers to the families and to my Comair colleagues.

The best advice I have seen on this or any aviation board.

From several years of air safety work I can assure you. Anyone who rushes out to share first hand knowledge, usually isn't very knowledgable. Eye witnesses are usually legally blind. Reliable sources aren't. Logical conclusions are usually personal theories. Aviation EXPERTS are defined as EX= has been. Spirt= drip under pressure.

Best to focus thoughts and prayers for the families.

And a little special prayer for the people who have the unenviable task of investigating the accident in a professional manner. They give up a piece of their very soul for a greater good for all of us.
