I would not be surprised if you had a visit from an E190 by summertime (your first round of concessions will be under the guise of competition for new and exciting shiny jets).

I'm sure that will be something that will happen down the line......the "SAVING GRACE" if you will, but for now CAL still has scope. The 69 airplanes that will be being replacing COEX's will be the same aircraft, just a new operator. At least that's how it appears so far.

The last thing I want to see is one of my RJ's with a continental paint job. I feel for you coex guys. I hope it all works out for you. You guys were doing a great job in standing up for what was right.

If I said it before, I'll say again "f**king Mesa". I really though we could weather this storm and maybe there was some light of hope that by providing great service, it would prove that a quality regional airline is worth a little extra to the majors. Guess that idea got shot down and now it's time to really start cranking on the resumes. Sad thing is this doesn't just affect the "regionals", it has reprucutions for the majors. Every time the regional level of pay/benefits is sunk more, the majors can justify siphoning off flying to the 50 seat level and with the 170s/190s, the 70-100 seat market. Less jobs at the majors, and more jobs and crappy regionals and thus comes the spiral of death for this once prestegious career.

Someone made reference to CoEx having a good 50 seat rate. These jets that are going bye-bye, are they 37 seaters that CO is deciding aren't profitable? How does a major decide that only 69 jets aren't profitable while the others are?? Someone enlighten us on how this contract works.

All of us (9e, xj, coex, skywest, colgan, chautauqua, republic, shutle, trans, american eagle, and any others that i forgot) should just pick one day where we all just dont show up to work on the same day. Imagine that, It would cripple all of the majors and maybe make a point to the public. There is no way they could replace all of us.

we dont have 69 135's i think we have something like 30. If we loose 69 aircraft it definitly will be the 135s and the ERs. This is going to be a very interesting year to come for sure. Hopefully its scare tactics

I am surprised that there haven't been any Skywest guys chiming in yet with

"we're gonna take it all"

You can stick with your real bottom feeders first 007.

SkyWest doesn't fly ERJ's. They have enough flying already.

you have fun with mesa and hojetz first wank face
