I think that we can all agree that go-jets sucks, but it has nothing to do with a van ride.

I could not agree with you more!

There are good people and bad people everywhere.... and sometimes the perception of a situation gets all bent out of shape due to context....

Serioulsy... what a bunch of whiners... no wonder managment has a hay day with pilots. If people want to be paid as professionals, its time to behave as such.

With all that is going on in aviation, this is what REALLY bothers people. For the love of all that's good... relax. Sometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshied.

This is not flame bait, but a true story. Our crew was overnighting in PWM this past Monday. We called the hotel and asked for the van as we were leaving the airplane. The hotel said the van was on it's way. As we walked out, the van pulled away with a GoJet crew and left us. We called the hotel and the hotel was not aware that the GoJet crew was there as well. We called the hotel and they told the van driver to turn around and get us, the GoJet crew threw a fit and demanded the van driver take them to the hotel since it was only a two mile drive and they left the airport. The van driver complied and we had to wait for the van to turn around and come back for us. The GoJet crew did not call the hotel, they just assumed (and we know what assumed does) the van was strictly for them.
Go figure

That could have happened to any crew.....and if it's only a 2 mile drive, then no big deal.

But in an attempt to never defend Gojets pilots personally, I must end by saying GoJets is a scumbag outfit full of a bunch of spineless dbags. So there.

Geez no flamebait huh? How do you know that GJ pilots threw a fit, and it's usually the FAs not the pilots that usually get anal about van rides. I have never ever been on a van ride that had to turn around after another crew called for it, even for a company crew. Get real. Wait your 2 minutes, it's first come first serve.

What you do on your overnights doesn't really belong in this forum.

TSA will strike and fold and then TSA holdings will form another airline and transfer planes away from Go Jets to save money.

Go-jets/TSA management may suck, but don't blame its pilots. These issues are above our heads, and are determined by outsourcing clauses that originate at mainline contracts. They loosen scope to save their own skins, and leave the smaller stuff for us to fight over.
It is an ALPA issue...
United is offering its furloughees preference at Go-jet, skywest, and mesa, according to a new letter of agreement with alpa. I'll go to gojet, if i need and want the flying job, and let alpa figure it out.
It is an alter-ego, set up to get around the TSA contract, but what are we supposed to do about it?
Until alpa national starts acting like a real union, instead of a flying club for squadron buddies, this happens.

No answer for the corrupt bankruptcy judges, the RLA, the biased NBB? CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE.....
Oh, but that would require leadership and guts...not a neutered alpa

See...what really happened....was... the Captain (who had his skateboard with him) knew of a " wicked halp-pipe" close to the hotel, so they could get their "360 degree twisty-mc-flippy thingy" on. There was absolutely no time to waste!

C'mon man.....laugh a little

If you can live with yourself have at it.

I would rather leave the industry before wearing a GoJet badge..........for god sakes man think about it.

Nope. Go-Jet pilots suck too. But thanks for playing.

Would that include guys who were furloughed from a major and had a desire to remain in the industry? There are plenty of major guys flying right seat at GJ. I think you should direct your ire towards management more than folks who want a flying job to support their dependants.

That excuse is killing said Industry.........

What are you supposed to do about it? Rally your MEC to change to ALPA and/or at least negotiate with TSA Airlines against TSA Holding Interests.

Well then, we can blame the major guys doubly!

The chickens come home to roost.

GoJet is an alter ego, just as Freedumb 1 was. While I do contribute the giving up of scope to be the fault of major airline pilots, I don't see how "hulas the great goat rimmer" creating an alter-ego and not flying it under one list whilst TSA was in contract negociations to be thier fault. I remember when go-jet first flew and just about every single ALPA pilot had giant alter-ego-jets stickers on their flight bag, but now because major airline pilots are there its ok and acceptable. Flying for gojets is as cool as picking up opentime when your airline has furloughed.

If it had NOT been a GoJet crew would you have felt the need to post it on here? I doubt it. Yes, I think that the GoJet past is a crappy one and screwed over a good group of people. But it's been nearly four years now and it is not going away anytime soon. Eventually the bitching has to end. What happened to the days of Mesa bashing. At some point another regional airline will come along that will turn heads and the spotlight will be taken off of GJ. Until then some people will feel the need to find SOMETHING to complain about any GJ pilot they find.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions...no, I don't work for GJ; but, I do get tired of seeing these waste of space "I was in the terminal today and saw a GJ pilot who's shoelace had come untied...how unprofessional" type posts.

Very well said.

Damn...I feel bad for the Pinnacle crew.

Broad brush generalizations? hmmm. You really have it all figured out! I guess brainlessly putting things into neat and clean little packages makes it so you don't have to actually use your brain.

I feel bad for you.

What about when TSA "stole" flying from American Eagle pilots when Eagle pilots were furloughed? Do you see Eagle pilots saying that TSA pilots suck even near the extent to which you idiots are doing here? All of you and your ilk have the maturity of a junior high school bully. Grow up.

Hypocritical morons.

Probably because TSA pilots walked that same picket line with the Eagle drivers. All their airplanes should be back at AMR by now.

I find it interesting how the TSA guys are very proficient at talking out both sides of their mouths. Must take alot of practice.

Pretty easy to figure out waka.

Did you even do one leg that was formerly Eagle's?

Nevertheless, TSA did fly the former Eagle routes but you don't see people bashing TSA like they're bashing GoJet. Do those of you mindlessly bashing GJ pilots bash the TSA pilots that were doing Eagle flying.......with the same zealotry? You think it's different but, in the end, it is exactly the same and it is absolutely hypocritical.

Folks, get off of your victim high horse. Yes, it sucks how GJ was formed and the TSA pilots that went to GJ in the beginning have questionable ethics. However, to bash an entire group of pilots that had nothing to do with forming GJ is pure stupidity. It is over so get over it.

Still have a problem with it? Have your union file a lawsuit. Oh? Your lack of scope that YOU voted in won't justify the legal expense? Whoa!

Truly, get over yourselves.

Both Go-Jets and Mesa suck!

You obviously have spent a great deal of time talking yourself into believing that what you did is acceptable. Lie to us as much as you want, but good god man, don't lie to yourself. The truth isn't complicated. It's very simple. GoJets and their pilots suck. It would be better if you just came to grips with that fact. Then maybe you could begin to move on with your sucky life. The truth will set you free.

Instead of being a babbling message board troll, why don't you respond with some actual substance? hmmm; "GoJets and their pilots suck"? (BTW; it's GoJet, no "S") Does dumbing down what is actually going on make your life easier? What are these so-called facts? Seriously, come up with a cogent argument that actually requires thought. Repond to my point about TSA/Eagle. It's not that hard of a concept to understand.

As for your assumptions, I don't now nor have I ever flown for GJ. However, if I get furloughed with no other options and they're hiring, I will apply. Your assumptions would be as stupid as me assuming that you fly for TSA and that you were doing "stolen" flying from Eagle.

Waka....."Did you even do one leg that was formerly Eagle's?"

Nope - not one in the 3 years I was there.

Why did you not quit in protest? Using the same reasoning (or lack thereof) that many on here (including you) use, you suck by default because you worked at an airline that "stole" flying even though you personally didn't do anything unethical.

They didn't steal any flying at all. They were AMRs routes not Eagles........they were AMRs planes not Eagles. It was a crappy thing to do to your pilots.......that is why we picketed with you. I guess that makes me crappy.........

Waka you are simple.

AMR...Eagle. However you try to rationalize it, it doesn't make a difference. Your (and all the GJ bashers') hypocrisy remains. The irony is deafening!

Whether you picketed or not, it doesn't absolve you TSA pilots of sucking because of your continuing to work for them in the first place.....again, just using your logic (I use that word quite loosely).

All you can come up with is that all GJ pilots suck and you're calling me simple?
