Just reviewed Praters message...

He calls for Particpation. To me that means getting involved.

He calls for solidarity. That means not throwing your fellow pilot under the bus, especially on FI.

And what was that picture of CapHill doing there? What does that mean? :)

Throwing your fellow pilot under the bus has nothing to do with FI.com.

UAL, NWA, East US Air, CAL, AMR, and HA flushed the next generations of careers for their own selfishness. Call a spade a spade.

ALPA leadership is a top down structure, not bottom up. The senior who have forgotten that they are on a team hurt the team not those that have been punished financing the seniors mistakes.

Luckytohaveajob,

You are exactly right. Witness the Age 65 debate. It’s only truly benefits the pilots at the top or in the age 55-60 realm. It’s got to stop.

It’s going to be interesting where ALPA goes with Age 65. Its divisiveness will absolutely kill any solidarity among the memberships of ALPA and APA. With no solidarity within the ranks, you can kiss good-bye any solid gains for the pilots.

You may be right AA. Prater is a age 65 supporter. Hopefully he can shut his trap on that and support the majority opinion at ALPA who are against the change. We'll see.

What I took away from Prater's message was ONE thing. No matter what the issue, if you're planning on being a wallflower at your airline and within your Union.....you're not part of the solution.
