Considering the number of total pilots to take the move back to the right seat is less then 1 percent of the total pilot group I am not sure I would call that mass exodus to the right seat LOL. One year here and missed upgrade to 737 captain by 400 numbers guess I will have to suffer it out on the 75/76.

Congratulations to all the new captains.

Don't bid back to the right seat too soon. LOL

Apply to FedEx as a CAL captain instead. Or even UPS or SWA when they start hiring again. :)

Glad I sidestepped this train wreck.

How bad must the QoL be to bid back down to gear jerker, instead of Captain.

Sounds like a great place to be.

NOT! LOL

You know what I am going to call your bluff. You say you turned CAL down and not the other way around OK prove it!

You can PM me your name and you have my word that I will keep it confidential. You can forward me your e-mail from CAL with your job offer or fax me a copy of your CAL acceptance letter. If you don't have it I have it any more I have an additional option. I know Dave Lynn (VP of Flight Standards and Training that has direct oversight over CAL Pilot Recruitment) and he has always been a straight shooter with me. I will as him to verify your claim of turning CAL down.

Time to lay down your cards. If you come up with any excuse why you can't everyone will know you are not telling the truth. If you are telling the truth you have nothing to lose.

Good luck with that.

She knows she is busted. But don't expect a reply.

She won't admit that she barely holds 135 IAH CA. Lets see bottom dweller on reserve max 12 days off no weekends. Hmmm hows that QOL? Not to mention that she will be on reserve for a long time.

I wonder if General Lee now realizes that my old FO at SkyW who barely turned 25 is now making $20/hr more than he is as a goddamn captain at CAL. he must be a better pilot now... awesome...and congrats, bro!!!

D.K. still can't putt for ******************** though...you know who you are...

Are things still really that bad at Alaska? I hear morale is way down, and my LA based Alaska buddy said the trips have been created in a very unproductive way. That stinks. Anyway, I am soo glad your ex FO is making more than I am. I have options to make Captain right now on the MD88, but I prefer not to. I will wait for 738 in ATL, where I live. I am almost there, although I may throw my hat in the ring for a little INTL flying first. I have so many options, unlike you. Tell your Ex FO buddy to enjoy EWR, I could easily be an MD88 Captain in NYC, but I avoid that place as much as I can. No thanks. Also, was your buddy INSTANTLY converted to 737 Captain? You said he is NOW making more money than I am. He did the upgrade within a few days of the bid results? That is what you said.

Bye Bye--General Lee

who says things are that bad here? I love it. somethings could be better, but somethings could be worse. we avoided BK, and while we don't get to wear double breasted jackets, we still get to maintain a small sense of dignity. I really am happy at all of Delta's success. we only hope to build on it. it sure didn't look possible 12-18 months ago...

I'm just happy that a good bro got the opportunity to upgrade. your lax buddy must be miserable...sorry you have friends like that. what are his initials, I may know him. maybe he should leave Alaska since you could get him a job flying with you there.

you know what, General...you are never going to convince me that I'm missing out on something by not flying at Delta, and I'm never going to convince you that I don't care.
