If you actually think John was the sole reason for age 65 being implemented, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. As for J not being encouraging, I was less than happy when J was selected as the chairman. I will still support the NC and J unless it becomes apparent that doing so would not be in our pilot groups best intrest.

He was the sole reason ALPA changed their stance, and Snake helped him do it!

I know you're trying and you want to see everybody do better. I'm trying to point out that our problem is more than semantics, it's the overall sentiment. Precious few at CAL know anything about helping out the entire group. Every pilot wants to help out the whole (claims to), but when it gets down to the nut cuttin, CAL pilots accept less than great agreements. Usually because some faction helps themselves to more than their fair share.

I've been calling the office lately. We were suppose to get a comprehensive financial analysis of what age 65 would mean to the CAL pilot group. It didn't get done and no one is talking about it anymore. I think Snake stopped it cold. It's time the new blood step in and say something! Snake trashed the majority CAL pilot opinion and voted with Darth Prater and no ones gotten tough with him! Ask for an explanation out of him, or ask to be assured he won't do the same thing in the future on another issue and see how he responds! He's going to do it again in negotiating this time if CAL pilots don't start calling down there and raise he!!.

Glad I sidestepped this train wreck.

How bad must the QoL be to bid back down to gear jerker, instead of Captain.

Sounds like a great place to be.

NOT! LOL

Actually, there is a difference between sidestepping and being TOLD to go away.

What does a narrow body Capt position pay?

Just curious; probably would have been a 12/00 hire but was 11 months into my DAL career and still another bid or two from Captain here.

I was caught up in the 99/00 pool (pooled in 3/99) when the CoEx folks were moved in to mainline and finally oofered a class in the Fall of 2000.

We'll see in 2028 if I really made the right decision....

SNB(short narrow body, 737-300, 737-500 and 737-700) $136.74/hr and LNB(long narrow body, 737-800, 737-900, 737-900ER) $155.24

These are all year 4 figures. As a reserve captain it is 76 hours time blended rate $144.99 or actual hrs flown times each aircraft's pay rate, whichever is higher...

Here's an example of just how stupid and self absorbed this skank is; someone slams her with this;

And she responds with this;

Yep, Pocono is such an idiot she agrees with a statement that slams her as being a waste. Moron.

WhatEver! JB.

You know exactly what I meant to say. LOL

Goofball. :laugh:

Im not trying to say anyones right or wrong here.

I guess we all know when we hit 60. Or 65, assuming we don't die first.

You must be a "glass is half empty" kind of guy. I can't believe someone complains about the easiest job on the planet. Complaining that you're going to make $135k as soon as you finish probation! You Subic guys have easy trips; usually 1 leg to a hotel and then back....wow rough job. Maybe if you didn't spend so much energy chasing the LBFM's you could handle it. I voted "NO" on the LOA but it passed anyway. Doesn't mean my fellow crewmembers don't have my back; just that we have different ideas about what is best for the group. Shouldn't be an issue for you. Bid the MD-11 and you'll be safe.
You apparently made the wrong decision. Scurry back to CAL, we have enough whiners.
