9AM flight, 8AM or so duty in maybe, 6-6:30AM wakeup? Maybe flew the night before and got back in th emiddle of the night. Who knows. It's not that surprising.

Would be more surprising if it happened at 3PM.

Nothing odd about that. Depends on what their work day was before. All I say is Thank God For Strong a$$ coffee!!!!!!!!
