Shift from MSP/MEM to DTW/JFK. Asking for 50 crews to DTW and 25 to JFK. Expecting the shift out of MSP/MEM, but everyone is open to bid and ge whatever their seniority will hold.

Everyone has already had a chance to move around the system where ever they want to go. This is going to be a straight displacement. Depending on the timeline of the SLI, it might pull XJ and Colgan pilots into the displacement as well.
 
No, this will be pre-SLI. The CA slots can't be displacement. Worse case scenario, current FOs will bid for the CA slots to upgrade. The displacement issue lies in the FOs. There may be some FOs who chose to go to ATL, DTW, or JFK. Otherwise, then it will be a displacement out of MEM MSP, inverse seniority order.

The company memo indicates nothing along these lines.
 
I don't like the fact that this will be done pre-sli. Junior 9e pilots in mem and msp will be forced out while the junior pilots at xj will not be affected.

Junior pilots at XJ are staring at furlough. How is that fair to a XJ guy that has 9L pilots who are junior to them but are able to hold lines at 9L? How is it fair for a 9L pilot 10 away from upgrade to possibly soon be 200 away from upgrade?

This industry isnt fair.
