Please note, I said "in the spring".

When it's cold outside it's not much of an issue. anything over 20c with a full RJ is dangerous.

You sound like a highly respected old-salt of a pilot. That said, if I'm ever a passenger on your flight, I do hope you stand up for me and not subject myself or my family to such deplorable conditions.

If ASA can't get it's sht together with something as basic as hot aircraft cabins, then what's the point of trying to masage your perf numbers? With that kind of attitude towards customer comfort, do you really think passengers will want to fly your airline again?

You pick your battles in this business for sure, but poorly serviced aircraft is mx or mgmt's problem, not yours.

BTW, I too am a big fan of the ATR. Much more comfortable cockpit than the 73. Sorry you had to see her go.
