I justt talked to a buddy of mine that works in the tower. he said that at the time there was a tailwind for 31c, however that i svery common when landing at mdw because chicago tracon does not want to mess with ord

You're right. What was I thinking? It is hilarious when airlines have accidents and incidents. Great time to make jokes. My fault.
