Tomorrow (Wednesday, May 2), your union will host an All Pilot Conference Call. It will begin at 1830 CDT and last approximately 3 hours. The main topics of conversation will be the ongoing progress of the merger, what is occurring at the negotiating table, and SmartPref bidding.

All pilots are encouraged to be on this call. Here’s how you can participate:

· Call Numbers
o (888) 517-2485
o (847) 413-3615

· Passcode
o 7500 894

· Live Webcast
o http://tinyurl.com/xjtstream

Following a briefing from your officers and key committee chairmen, pilots will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide us with feedback. If you are not planning to ask a question during the call, consider listening to it via the webcast. During the call, we will also be monitoring the [email protected] e-mail account, so if you logged on via the webcast and have a question, send us an e-mail and we will answer your question in the order in which it is received. Please be sure to include your name with your question so that we can address it properly.

I look forward to talking with many of you tomorrow. If, however, you cannot make this call, a recording of it will be available on the ExpressJet ALPA Web site later this week.

Is this both MECs? What do you mean by "finding out the real story"?

During the SkyWest earnings call this morning Brad Holt was touching on the progress of negotiations and then it sounds like he gets cut off before he can really divulge the details. It was about 34 minutes into the call while answering a question from Raymond James I believe. Or perhaps he simply stuffed the microphone into his pants, not sure.

According to the Atl / Asa/ lec we should be voting on something in a couple of months. But what about the MEC to MEC confidentiality agreement and not discussing negotiations?

You have created some confusion. This was posted today (May, 2), but suggests the call is "tomorrow". Is it today (5/2) or tomorrow (5/3)?

hmm if we vote on it on a couple of months.. that means it should be done within a month? that seems hard to believe..... or are they saying we could have a TA within a few months?

Their words, my guess is that the union does not want to negotiate a contract with pncl and AE in a consessionary enviorment. The company also wants to know their fixed costs for a couple of years to bid contracts...

Just about spot on. Union guys in recurrent last week stated how they want to get this done before pinnacle and eagle take concessions or have their contracts tossed. Was also told company wants this done ASAP because they need to know our costs before bidding on any available flying.

Might there be a rebroadcast or a pod cast of this call for those of us who might have other obligations?

I heard that as well. Very interesting... They just kept going like nothing happened too.
