This is rumor only. New reallignment bid with recalls due no later than mid March. This due to increase HI, summer schedule increase as well as additional flying to counter CO and UA additional flights to ANC and FAI. Details may change slightly depending on ETOPS negotiations.

I must have fell asleep, when did United and Continental announce flying to Alaska? Is this growth for United? It seems the angle lake folks are letting VA jump all over their California market, will they let UAL and CO take over their bread and butter?

Sorry, I dozed off for a bit! This appears to be anticipation for increased travel this summer. How does United offer one flight a week? I guess it's a start in the right direction. I wonder how the folks overlooking the lake plan to handle this?

I heard this weekend that a new bid will come out after the last one is posted. It will include 14 upgrades. I didn't hear how many recalls, but I would think it would be around 28 (14 to replaced the upgrades and 14 more to match the captains). We shall see.

upgrades

Per the MEC emails, I would expect any vacancies to be in ANC & LAX to support the additional ETOPS flying. (until an ETOPS aggreement is made for SEA, and voted "in" by the pilots)

I've heard no matter which option they choose, flying will increase in LAX and ANC and decrease in SEA.
