I flew Dave Chappelle and Spike Lee the day after the Derby this year, I knew about it the day before so I had the second season box set for The Chappelle Show and a movie from Spike for them to sign. Believe it or not Dave had just a duffle bag and a skateboard. And even if you hate Spike's movies he is a really cool guy in person.

I've had Carrot Top from LBB to IAH. I've also flown Max Weinberg (of Late Night with Conan O'Brien and E Street Band fame) in 1A from EWR to ROC...super nice guy.

Carrot Top has a brother who is UAL pilot and Guard Viper driver.

Famous People

I had the oppurunity to fly George Harrison of the Beatles a few years back. The part I liked the best was his limousine ride was tied up in traffic. George elected to stay in the airplane for the wait. Meanwhile, I sat with him had a soda and we discussed airplanes for the next half hour.
It was an amazing experience and one that stands out of the many famous people I have flown over the years.

Back in the day when I was pumping gas into corporate jets, Jack Nicklaus came in for a visit. I had the pilots ask him before departure if I could get an autograph.
Later, Jack invited me onto his G4, introduced himself and asked who I wanted the picture made out to. I told him my dad since it was his b-day the following week and he loves golf! Jack gladly signed a picture and wrote "happy birthday" to my dad...what a nice guy!!!

I flew jimmy buffets family out to his boat (208RG) his plane "strang bird", it had a parrot riding a surfboard on the tail. Met Jimmy, not impressed.

I used to run into hime every once in a while at PBI customs. He seemed pretty arrogant. Some of the customs agents would just about sh!t their pants with excitement when he came through. I guess that would be the high point of the day when working PBI customs.

As a freight dawg:

Met a guy in the FBO at CLE, he was one of the Cleveland Indians who had just gotten traded to another team that day and was flying out to play in a game the next day. I can't remember his name, but I do remember that he was all over the news the next day for getting into a fight during the game.
