are there any plans for for an upcoming class?

Actually...... Interviewing in Nov/Dec for a Jan class of 12-14 as per Chief Pilot, for growth in March. And there is rumor of a class after that for May/Jun growth.

No, most of the guys live in a crashpad during training, or with friends.

Where is the training conducted, and is SFB a junior base? Being a 4 year FO at Comair and putting up with the latest RFP junk is dissapointing to say the least. I thought I could make a career here, but that outlook is quickly changing.

I live close to SFB and given the bright outlook of Allegiant and my dislike of commuting, it looks like an opportunity far too reasonable to pass up. Looks like a few of my Comair comrades successfully made the switch...hopefully I can measure-up, too

Training is in Vegas. Hotels are not provided but there are vacation rental homes available. Three of us are renting one for a month and a half for about 850 per person.

Sanford is fairly junior but is filled up for now. St Pete is where some of us are going and Vegas is where most are going (to backfill FOs who upgraded).

4 years at Comair was hard to throw away but I think it was worth it.

Yep, a LOT of people are indeed voting with their feet here as of late! Seems only half of the new-hires actually show up for the indoc when the time comes. What a sad state of affairs
