I asked my CFI to fly with me as I have not flown the Cherokee 140 for over 10 months, and we both were kind of bored. So, Jeff picked an airport where we both have not been to yet. 51nm southeast of Hartford, CT... Montauk, NY (flight is edited for time at 1000% timelapse speed - under wing camera)

Flying into Bridgeport Sikorsky KBDR | LIVE: Traffic-Packed Class-D Airspace Adventure

Description:
Fly with me on a cold but stunning Sunday morning in December as I return to the first airport where I began my flight training—Bridgeport Sikorsky Memorial Airport (KBDR). The skies over Bridgeport are bustling with aircraft, making this Class-D airspace a busy yet thrilling experience.

Join me as I navigate a right downwind approach to Runway 6, guided by Air Traffic Control managing the action-packed airspace. Along the way, take in breathtaking views of Long Island Sound and the scenic southern coastal areas of Bridgeport and Stratford, CT.
As a special feature, watch live traffic overlays from my iPad, providing a unique perspective on this VFR approach. Don’t miss this exciting return to my aviation roots!
