Sorry, Crusty, the only one here with an "animal act" is you, with your trained rodents, you pillow-biting, hamster-hiding Nancy-boy.

150k for a 5-7 year Capt running a 15 day off a month schedule seems to be the norm. The work-a-holics are running closer to 200k by getting drat pay, picking up trips that create conflicts, which are then paid, etc.

Is there really that much soft time available? 7 yr capt pay 127/hr x 85 hrs/mo x 12 mo/yr = $129,540.

Rule of thumb for me seems to be 85/15 hard to soft time and that is as a commuter who has fewer opportunities to work the system. If you add 15 percent to the numbers you ran, it comes out to right at 150K.

Not nearly enough to suit big money guys like Chuckie or Crusty, but I'll take it!

Yes, especialy when you get a few numbers below you and can work the system.

I keep copies of crewtime reports in my desk.

Jan '06: actual 35, credit 73 (recurrent training)
Feb '06: actual 86, credit 97
Mar '06: actual 78, credit 92
Apr '06: actual 63, credit 87 (1 week vacation)
May '06: actual 56, credit 88 (1 week vacation)
June '06: actual 80, credit 87*

*June numbers are a projection, haven't flown this month yet.

You call that slackin'?

In 2005, I flew less than 600 hours and got paid for close to 1000. . . .

Now, that's slackin', Baby!

How do the stand-up (CDO) lines work with pay? Is it straight guarantee or some sort of override?

65 hrs flight, 92 hours credit so far. No training, no vacation, and only 1.5 hrs extension from an involuntary schedule change. You got to love it when scheduling screws up!!!!
BTW guppypuppy, people who live in glass houses shouldn't being throwing stones about operations that don't sound safe.
