In summary; I'm a junior F.O. with everything to gain and no seniority to lose. I tried to get hired at SWA and this is the only way to do it. I'm willing to throw anybody under the bus and undermine my union it its attempt to defend their position for fair pay and seniority.

Much more concise.

I Never applied to SWA. It was guys way senior to me who led us in front of the bus. I always understood the risks and benefits to coming to AirTran.

Edited: I generalized and I like squirrels.

I can make it even shorter no matter who you work for, how old you are, what your seniority is or where you live;

It's all about me.

See simple.

I had one eye on the bus driven by SWAPA, one by SW management, the eyes in the back of my head were watching our union (multiple people fighting to drive that bus and it was out of control), and our management. All were trying to hit me!

Ha :) Funny and true.

No set schedule?- its my understanding the airlines will be completely integrated by 2015- is that not correct?

So, worst case, you make the air tran money you negotiated for the next 3 years, but not having to save for a strike fund, or spend dues getting hostages their jobs back, or waste time heading to a clinic when you have the flu bc your company wants a doctors note-

Patience is a virtue-

Look around, 28 etops aircraft coming our way this year alone, and hawaii the only route we'd need ETOPS- look at the Houston fight (and get in it, btw)
This is not an instant gratification place. We won't double in size tomorrow- but read the tea leaves and realize there are no losers here.

We'll see...

However, on 1/1/15, regardless of what's going on with the airplanes and crews, we snap to Southwest's CBA rates and work rules.
