Many of us here tried to warn you but you just wouldn't listen. You defiantly said to VOTE NO! Your MEC made your bed.

No it is time to lay in it.

What's amazing is that you don't see the negative ramifications to you of having a b-scale on property while you're simultaneously in Section 6 negotiations.

Maybe he doesn't see the problem there. But I bet SWAPA does. Our pay rates are a distraction. We voted on them not once, but twice in about a one year period. So it's pretty disengenious to tell the SWA pilots to fix this mess for us, when they literally had nothing to do with it. The only beef I have with SWAPA is the lack of communication and updating with their pilot group during the SLI and now during the transition. There should be some kind of tracking mechanism and progress accountability leading to 1 Jan 2015. Because right now SWA is only advertising their seperate operations plans.

Very true. Honestly, I shoulda just stayed out of this discussion. Headed to Dallas next month and couldn't be happier.

I am very happy for you. I truly am.

We fought for our side and you fought for yours. I honestly hope that we all come together and are one big happy family. That being said I take serious issue with AirTran pilots coming on here and bitching about the fact that they make "B-scale" wages. That was your unions choice. You were told not to take that path and you (and your MEC) ignored that advice.

I also find it REALLY ironic that one of your Union Executives who is on the record stating his disdain for the previous agreement. As well as recommending a no vote. Now he comes on here bitching about the fact he flies under a B-scale.

Again, don't come to me bitching about a b-scale. I had nothing to do with it.

With that said I am really happy you are coming over and hope you love this airline as much as I do.

You could have voted yes. You were told that if you turned down the first agreement that the money would be taken off the table.

You were warned.

Don't bitch at me, I didn't make that decision. YOU DID.

No, I didn't make a decision to accept a b-scale. I voted no. But you do have a valid argument for the 87% who voted yes.

Awesome! Welcome aboard! When are you gonna be there?

I've got training in May, and I'd love to buy you guys a shot or 2 of Wild Turkey........

PCL, we should not have this debate-
I regret it before I type
But I will call out anybody who calls it a b-scale
B-scale is when a group working for the same company, represented by the same union, performs the same job for lower rates.
Does this scenario meet any of those conditions? Does your pay stub say Southwest Airlines on it or Air Tran?
Is your union SWAPA or ALPA?
Your parent company is SWA, and all of us would like to snap our fingers and have the airlines be integrated- but it will take a bit of time-
You sound young when you say that. I have friends at American who would love to trade places with you. A plan is in place, and you guys are transitioning over at a set pace.
As for pay, until i see GK whipsaw us, I have zero problems with you guys sleeping in the bed you made.
Wonder if you PCL will ever take responsibility for your role in your "b-scale"?

But as everyone said- its over and done, and everybody has their 5%- but I'll always be amazed to hear air tran pilots bitch. It's a shame we have to take the ones who aren't happy

The only thing MOST of us AirTran pilots are bitching about, is the 7 people who voted not to send the SLI out to the pilot group for a vote. You are correct, now since a few people made a bad decision, yes people we put in office, we have to lay in our own bed.

It's over, now get over it and move on. Life is way too darn short. Go kiss your wife, or your dog, or just go play with yourself if you have neither.

you'll be on our pay scale soon enough, in a set agreed time, as you transition and the company starts realizing the efficiencies.
Greed does not rule the roost around here.

Oh yeah...when? There is no "set and agreed time" It's not greed, as you put it, it just bites, that's all.
