AA Pilot Busted for Impersonating Cop

I read some freaky article recently about people who impersonate cops and rape/kill - it was very scary. It said that if you are a woman getting stopped in an isolated area to slow down and put your hazards on and call 911 from a cell to see if the dispatcher knows of a cruiser trying to pull...

AA FLT LA - Chicago shot at?

Most of the first reports confirmed this theory. I have a family friend who is very high up at a major network and he said this sort of thing happens more often than we'd all like to think - the first 10 eye witnesses say the same thing, then they're not willing to talk or rescind their...

    US Air orders 20 A350s...

Well here's the good news for Boeing: Boeing scores big order from Hong Kong airline Another domino has fallen for Boeing, an order with an eventual total list price that's likely to approach $8 billion. It's the latest in a series of recent huge wins that is crushing Airbus in sales of...

    American at Love: Faking Angina

Wow, finally a sane thread on this topic - with a new angle! I fear that I come down with FlopGut and SkyBoss on this issue, but it's nice to see that we can all discuss this like sane adults and not react like the other side is calling out our moms or something ...

    US Air orders 20 A350s...

Yup. I think it's totally important to keep support that trend on our end too - the global economy isn't going away! There are so many more international orders with China and other transitioning markets exploding, etc. US needs to keep it's options open so other countries do the same for Boeing.

    Places to live near BWI

Def steer clear of the DC metro area! The public trans to BWI is good, but the prices are out of control. I rent in downtown DC right now and it's insane, as are the taxes.

    AA heading to Love

Thanks for the post - we got a thread going on this yesterday too, maybe we can consolidate the looming throw down! ;) http://forums.flightinfo.com/showthread.php?t=67892

    US Air orders 20 A350s...

A vs. B shennanigins continue, interesting about the financing aspect... Airbus announces order by US Airways for 20 A350s THE NEWS TRIBUNE (WA) Published: November 30th, 2005 02:30 AM US Airways Group Inc. has ordered 20 Airbus A350s, honoring its promise to buy the fuel-efficient aircraft...

    aviation movies...

lol, this is great info - US Weekly would pay you for this stuff! I read in some entertainment rag that Nicholas Cage practices some intense form of acting where he "becomes" the character and can get really fussy on set. But who knows if all that crap is true - I'd take your word since you...

haha, that's crazy! Is he a nice guy? I've heard (obviously this is from magazines, etc. lol!), that he's kind of a prick. Please tell me it ain't true though, I love his flicks!

    This is new to me

IAD - BOS starts 1/17/06 on Jet Blue, can't wait to get in on those fare sales the first few weeks. I go up there a lot, and those fares will be cheap enough to make me go to IAD rather than dish out for DCA.

lol - that sucks, but sounds like you still made out! Did you like Gone in 60 Seconds? No airplanes to speak of, but lots of cars and Nicholas Cage again.

    This is new to me

I believe US Air also stops flights to Bermuda from National in the "off season", but they alllllways back when volume kicks back up - doubt it's permanent.

My take on the Wirght amendment...

I did not bold "have to" in my original message - didn't mean for there to be emphasis on that! ;) Just wondering if at some point they may end up making the move regardless to pick up connecting travel, especially international...

    AA to LUV

I also saw that news - looks like we're gonna get head to head competition one way or another. I'd hoped it would be at DFW, but this works too!

My take on the Wirght amendment...

Does anyone think at this rate SWA will have to move some operations to DFW at some point anyway? There is not a ton of space left at Love anyway, and if WA is repealed and they start to expand like they claim, will Love be able to hold em? They have been really clear that the master plan...

    Welcome to my lounge...
