Age 65 will cause FURLOUGHS and DOWNGRADES

He is, however, like a chihuahua on your pant leg. He's not letting go until he's got him some satisfaction. :)

Can 60+ F.E.'s go back to the captain seat?

Company losses: -Costlier crew force composition -Less productivity (sick, vacation, etc) -Scheduling complexity (over/under) Company gains: -Less costly retirement payouts (life expectancy) -Massive leverage in future negotiations -Divisive crew force You can bet that if it were a net...

Can 60+ F.E.'s go back to the captain seat?

If their seniority can hold it, they can bid it. There will be backward movement.

cushiest jobs: just when i thought we wouldn't be on the list...

And the reporter thinks TAFB means "the after flight beer".

Any FDX Poolies get called for HKG or CDG F/O class

2700 if you rent, 1300 if you buy. Either way it's not near enough to cover a pad. It's likely, unless you're a very frugal single, that you'll lose money on that deal.

    JetBlue taking local Union Heat

And you seem to ignore the fact that you don't know the facts about this particular segment of the industry.

Looming Pilot Shortage Lowering the Bar???--Article

That sorta disqualifies your response en totale, assuming you are one of the "products". Or perhaps it lends credibility to your response...

Looming Pilot Shortage Lowering the Bar???--Article

Any economist out there care to speculate as to why, when there is increased demand for a product and diminishing supply, the compensation/price for said product decreases?

    Private A-380

Nice summary. Corn-based ethanol is a joke. Now if I can only convince my wife that an E85 Flex-Fuel machine is simply a waste of money.....

    JL Dumps Air Tran Stock

The classic mark of a fool. If you find yourself apologizing for something immediately after opening your mouth because you aren't sure you should have said it, then you never should have said it. And it is mentioned, nay belabored, at AAI training up to at least summer of '05.

I don't think the French would hold a grudge for being unfavorably compared to we Yanks, do you?

"Pilots get 10 times more air than passengers"

While you're at it, next time you're having a surgical procedure ask the nurse to politely let the surgeon know that you'd like the same cool latex gloves that he/she has. They make cool rooster balloons.

Dubya asked about Age 60 Legislation

"Many" live in a van down by the river and give motivational speeches to high school students to make ends meet until SS kicks in.

njcapt: I think that bestpilot finally has a competitor for the most completely indecipherable posts on FI. At least BP is funny and laid back. I'll loan you my bottle opener for the job.
