If you are a SkyWest pilot, please vote for one of the two choices available to you for SAPA president. Our recent elections have been seriously embarrassing. If you can't muster the motivation to research the candidates, just flip a coin, consult the magic 8-ball, check your horoscope, or PM me...

Just a few days remaining. If you are on the SkyWest pilot seniority list, please vote.
If you're not sure how you should vote, please do some research and make a decision. Regardless of your position, a high turn-out vote shows our management we are interested in our company and our future...
SkyWest people, please be sure to include in the comments section, the reasons you are voting no and the changes that would need to be made to the proposal in order to vote yes. Without some kind of constructive criticism, I have a feeling those in charge will consider a no-vote the arbitrary...
Twice before we've heard them, and twice before they've been discredited. Why won't these rumors just die? Every time I think it's gone, the SkyWest ASA merger rumor rises, phoenix-like, from the ashes. Can anyone put this 3rd iteration to bed? Or will we be tormented with these rumors far, far...
I'm curious how many of you out there know of people retiring (due to age 60)from the regionals who are not able to retire in the conventional sense. I guess it should be pretty commonplace considering regional wages, I just don't recall hearing about it happening very often. Are there any...
Anyone out there built an A-plane? My wife bought me the online plans but I'm not sure if I'm going to take the plunge and start putting money into an ultralight. Anyone with good (or bad) A-plane experiences? For those of you who aren't familiar, the website is: http://www.affordaplane.com/...
Does anyone know where I can find an inexpensive adapter/plug that will allow me to plug a cd/mp3 player into a standard aircraft microphone jack. I've heard there are some commercially available for around $10. Anyone? Thanks.

Maybe one of you Comair folks can help me out. I'm looking for an AME near CVG, preferably in Northern Kentucky. If you could pm, or post a name, phone # and price for a 1st class, I'd really appreciate it. The AME section of this board is pretty outdated, the only one I could get through to...
How does one determine the stall line on the negative (< 0g) side of the V-G diagram? Determining the positive side is easy, since all you have to do is determine the stall speed for a given load factor. However, with a negative load factor my equation doesn't work. The equation I'm referring to...
I heard from a very reliable source that Mesa has recalled a rather large group of their furloughed pilots. Can anyone give details? How many recalled? How many remaining on furlough? New aircraft deliveries? Any firm details would be great. Thanks.
It is a commonly held belief that the first 10 degrees of flaps on most training aircraft generally increase lift more than drag. If this is true, why don't procedures dictate using 10 degrees of flaps to increase glide performance?
