I may have missed it, but has anyone mentioned the company's inability to release the Enders Report on safety,, something they spent 1 million dollars on and have never let the operators review it at all, they even wanted the Union to sign non disclosure statements.
Don't understand how the...
Since this is pensionable, you will also get 6% toward your PMPP, B fund,, therefore for the lowly S/O will get an additional $450 and the wide body guy get $1800.
You'll never know if you made the right decision until you turn 60 and retire, but once you make your decision now stick with it and don't look back. I think there are alot of great guys at both companies, follow the stability and growth, FEDEX is a good choice..
If your Negotiating Committee truly speaks for you as most of you have said, you should be voting yes without even looking at the TA.
I know I will vote yes, those guys are true heros. Wouldn't it be great if the vote came in at 95% pass. This would send a true messasge that the Negotiators do...
hey guys,
the formula the union is using for retro/signing bonus is
936x(yrs since amendable date)x(pay rate for your current seat in 2003)x7%
936 is the average yearly blg
so for a widebody capt,
it should be 936x2.4x198x7%= 31135
good luck,..

I wish the women...
You must look at Unions as a cheap insurance policy. I was at NetJets and now Fedex, keep in mind that once something goes wrong, ie missed trip, late show, dinged aircraft. The Union looks pretty good at this point.
If you don't have one, you are an at will employee and can be fired for any...
Doesn't anyone find it strange that FDX signs a contract renewal with the Post Office 2 years early, boasts how wonderful it is to have such a wonderful working relationship and has not finished the pilot contract after 2 years of negotiating?? I guess we don't have such a great working...
Call them and be very polite, most of the people there are extremely nice and helpful. They know your life is held on hold. I called before I was hired and if there is anything they could give you, they will. Try the angle that you are thinking of moving to MEM and trying to decide when you...
