It would appear that, effective immediately, United is forcing SkyWest to cancel their cabin jumpseat agreements for UAX flights. Apparently, so many SKW pilots and F/A's have been jumpseating everywhere (even when not commuting) instead of paying the annual "opt in" fees for non-revving, UA...
Just heard from one of my more trusted external sources that Lynx will be ceasing operations in early April. Prior to this latest rumour, it was going around that SkyWest, Inc. was interested in picking up the leases on Lynx's Q400's.

Just wondering how many of you have commuters in your office. SGU is damn near uncommutable, but I'm curious as to how viable commuting is with some of the more commutable offices.

According to the ATC Archive from an hour ago (0320z), Colgan 3407 is down NE of KBUF in Clarence Center. At 0324z in the archive, the controller makes blanket announcement that a "Dash 8 is down short of the airport in the vicinity of the outer marker" and asks all for icing pireps...

Of course, in typical media style, they bury the real story of the strides ASA has made in the last year between mentions of passenger disdain for past performance issues.
