4 Fan Trashcan,
Two years in the pool was alot of our "swim-time" back then. Seemed like we said "it could NEVER get worse than this...well we stand corrected.
Too bad we are all adicted to this thing called flying.

Hey folks,
As a 2002-2003 Pool Rat Survivor I can still recall the emotional roller coaster of "...when will ever get to class" & "Did I dream that phone call to continue the process?"
All I can tell you is...
#1. Yes its worth the wait
#2. Don't pork it up by doing something...

The size does matter...
The 8" Scott is a bit snug in the -300, but it holds all your stuff nicely. No worries in the -700. I had the little pouch added on the end...great for glasses and cell phone. Also added the velcro inside pouch to put pens, jumpseat passes, etc.
The Scott bag is very...

I,ve been using them for the last 18 months in the B737-/3/5/700. Now doing some testing with it in the C-130. All I can say is "...best money I have spent on flying gear."

ezviper,
Don't know what to tell ya about the refer a friend thing. I have had three guys use it so far. The only restriction I know of is you can not have ordered from them within the last year. Talked to "Mitchell" @ Crutchfield's and he reconfirmed.

It gets very quiet. I ran one battery til failure on a four day trip. At least 23 hours in the airplane, another 5 or so in the hotels, and it finally gave up back at the house after 30+ hours on it. My solution: I have four rechargable AAAs, that should have me more than covered.

-You can payroll all your uniform items including the leather jacket
-The Bose rig is well worth it for $500. Thats about half of a Sennheiser or Bose X. And having...

Welcome!
That first month hit on supplies can really hurt. I tried to purchase some stuff a little at a time, beforehand so it would not hurt too much.
Here's what I've heard so far:
- Expect to drop about two grand when it's all said and done
- Get the custom ear molds -- Never...
