Just curious how you can make this post about the Airbus and how much safer the Boeing is. You obviously have no perspective whatsoever. I however, along with many, have flown as a captain on both a/c. I liked the 727,737,757, and the 767. I love the A-320 and the A-330. Don't bother responding...
I'm not sure. I understand that we were looking at some Delta 767's that recently became available, but I believe they got snapped up. Apparently, there are some planes available, however I know not where. Kind of hush hush, but from the training dept., not if but when. Stay tuned.
Try this: F*PPD/CASS.. agents can access this to find details about the procedures for processing a pilot through CASS. Also: N*CASS/UN.. contains the formatted message along with instructions for completion and sending data to the CASS server. Good luck. Would love to be able to help you...
Just finished the turn eastbound on the LAXX 5? dept. Climbing through 10 grand but I believe AA said something about being between 5 and 6. Again, we missed the first part of the transmission so thats about as much info as I have.
FYI , We were the aircraft right behind the AA jet. We only caught the last part of the ATC transmission from AA. Upon landing in CLT we were contacted by the FBI and told him that we witnessed nothing unusual. On the LAXX dept. Pretty strange though, huh?
You need to seriously chill dude. There are plenty of pilots on this board that work/used to work at majors looking to start over somewhere else. I don't happen to be one of those, but if I was, this would be the board I checked first.
I thought the holding relay had something to do with all the new hire flight attendants. I'm still here, hoping that the next phase of my career is a whole lot better than the last "few" years. Never really been in any kind of furlough jepordy, so I guess at this point I'll just hang around and...
Hey DW, I also started as a 727 FE with Piedmont. Just curious, Did you get furloughed or did you just leave for potentially greener pastures? Again, just curious and best of luck to you.
Find the much easier to locate parking brake handle, and slide your hand forward about two inches. You'll never have to take your eyes off the pfd(EFIS).
These were all scheduled returns. No anticipated furloughs, although that could certainly change. Tell your friends to hang in there. Roughly 200 retirements/year for the next 10 years. The "new" industry definitely requires a considerable amount of patience and fortitude, but still beats the...
FYI! There's always going to be some idiot like the guy saying he's going to have the United guys beneath him..for the other 90% of us..we never even thought it, let alone said it. And what exactly are we not getting? Are you saying that AWA has never been in bankruptcy before? As far as our...
Is that your vast experience talking? In order for this thing to be cohesive, a little less swagger and a little more humility would serve you well. You have absolutely no idea what's going to happen...just like the rest of us. So sit back and enjoy the ride and please stop trying to convince us...
