I am curious if anyone has any good gouge on hotels with good crew rates and transport around either DCA or IAD. Also, has anyone had to make a transfer from IAD to DCA and if so what's the best option.(are there any shuttles with regular frequency between the two airports?)
I'm a newbie to IAD/DCA crew domicile and I'm wondering if anyone has any good gouge on affordable hotel deals in the area with good transportation. I don't want to crash pad it there. I'm looking for something at IAD and DCA. Thanks in advance to those who respond.
I'm a new commuter to DFW and am looking for suggestions on a good commuter hotel... need reliable transportation. I appreciate your suggestions in advance.
I'm a new commuter. I'm commuting from CLT and need some suggestions for a cheap place to park with a reliable shuttle to the terminal. I thank you for your suggestions in advance.

From the American Eagle Pilot Recruitment Facebook page:
"If you have not yet heard, American Eagle is hiring. We are looking for at least 400 pilots for 2013. Just this week, American Eagle started offering a $5000 sign on bonus. Update your application today!"...
I am surprised no one on here has mentioned this yet.... Did you know that 5 months ago it took 10 years to hold Jet Captain at Eagle and now it only takes 5? You might not know this, but Eagle is on track to exceed its planned hiring for 2010 by double and has already picked up hiring plans...
Forgive me, I haven't been on here for over a year so I really haven't keep up with the rumors at Delta/NWA since I interviewed for NWA 2 years ago, but I was talking to a Delta (formerly NWA) friend who thought he heard there might be a hiring window later this year. I didn't see any threads...
So, let me pool the group. Which color of suit is better for an interview: Black or Navy Blue?
As far as ties go, I would assume red or blue with a white shirt.
I am interviewing with NWA soon.
So, I wonder if you NWA guys can explain this thing I hear about furlough protection with Compass or the other regional feeds for NWA.
I am sure that I am not the only guy who has wondered just what a DAL/NWA merger might do to crew planning for NWA and their plans to hire 250-350 this year...
So, 116 people looked at this and couldn't answer one question. So, I renamed the thread to attract different people.
If you can answer one or more of these question I would be very interested in hearing what you have to say.

So, after 4 months I got the call to come up to MSP. I have some questions:
1. Hotel paid in training?
2. Per Diem paid in training (24/7 intro through IOE)?
3. From you guys who have been there a few months, what has reserve been like (long/short call)
4. What kind of pay periods does NWA...
It's been pretty quiet on the NWA hiring front. My sponsor told me up front when I put my stuff in that I was pretty competetive and I haven't heard anything. How many per class/per month are they running right now?
So, here's a new thread about NWA. There was a lot of buzz until this week. My sponser got the recommendation form and sent it in. He thought things would get going real quick, but I haven't heard anyone else on here talk about getting a call or anything further. Does anyone have the inside...
So, my NWA sponsor called me today and told me that he was contacted from NWA (I'm unclear if he said it was the CP or HR), but they sent him a form to fill out for a recommendation to go along with an interview.
The point was that he told me that they intend to interview me. So, I guess this...
