    JBLU Training Pay

I believe the luggage will soon be going away and an allowance will replace it. In fact the entire new hire package is being re-evaluated. Looks like new hires will get leather jackets as well. No final decision yet on the exact package, that I know of.

    Jet Blue Interview Prep

Blue Steak is about a steak left at room temp too long. Sorry just kidding.

    Jet Blue Interview Prep

The above is perfect advice. Also do an internet seach for Behavioral Interviews. Lots of TMAAT questions there as well. This is an old interview technique, nothing new. Also, REMEMBER the names of everyone you meet. Very important.

    Will JetBlue ever fly trans-oceanic?

LD, Looking at your qualifications and experience, I think you know better than to compare stock prices. I know you work for US Airways, but you still should know better. You need to compare overall value, fleet, business plan, etc. JBLU stock price is a result of multiple splits. I...

Look up Common Carrier, you may come up with something.

Hang in there Sup. You're on the last lap now. You're almost there.

    Will JetBlue ever fly trans-oceanic?

US Airways, and Low Cost Carrier should never be used in the same sentence. They are marketing that (Smart Move), and changed their ticker to LCC (Smart Move), but by are far from being an actual LCC. My forecast is LCC will run out of money before they achieve true LCC status. With all...

    JetBlue Q

LT, Who do you fly for now? What is the dirty little secret? Share it with us if you know, or is that just a sound bite that makes you feel good. DW

jetBlue Nov 2,3 interviews. Any info yet

TG, Very professional post. Good luck at your company. A rejection notice is tough to swallow, as is a furlough. I was furloughed after many years at a major, and my life has just gotten better since. Sometimes it takes a few years for the reasons of past events to become clear. DW

    JetBlue Jan 11/12 interview news?

It sure is a shame that there is so much communication just before, during, and just after the interview ... then 8+ weeks of dead silence. This is where I feel we are letting down our pending new crewmembers. There should be a weekly update as to the status of your interview package, etc, a...

Over AGE 60 PILOTS TO FLY IN UNITED STATES

Good point, but if we must retire at 60, then we should get full Social Security benefits at 60, and not have to wait until 65 or 70. DW

    Hooters Air

True, but there are a lot of good people at Pace, that once worked at a "Major".

    Jetblue contract question

Yup... If you ever miss a cleaning ... you're gone. No questions asked.

    Jetblue contract question

Fair Question. I believe it says you can't go back to your previous Pt 121 carrier for 2 years, or repay the training costs. Everything else is standard stuff seen in many corporate flight dept. agreements. Nothing magical. There is a blurb about an agreement to pay you during the 5 years...

    Nwa Furlough Projections

Not always. I was furloughed and life has been much better, since that day. A furlough forces you to get off your duff and start looking for greener pastures, instead of hanging with a stagnant (sp?) airline.

did jetblue ever consider the airbus 318?

I asked the same question to Al Spain in the "Safe Room", and his answer was that the 318 was not truely a 100 seater, where the 190 was. I'm sure the other part of the answer was the crew pay, but that was not discussed, as you might guess.

Oh, that makes it true I guess ?? Nothing can ever be confirmed via an forum where people hide behind screen names.

    Website for jetblue pilots

Yes, that is a strange subject area, but I believe that is an area for folks to complain about cabin cleaning. I doubt you will see any techniques shared there. I laughed when I saw it myself. DW
