I herd that the boss was giving some pft a hard time for not getting beer for a charter flight and it was not the pfts fault but the boss was just being a dick. jumpseat question for Great Lakes pilots
the only list I looked at for jump seaters when I was at lakes was the Freedom list. we always had those bastards trying to jump seat out of Farmington. Other than that all you need is a company ID and a heart beat.- be-400xpdriver

Thinking of relocating
Cortez, CO. Nice big lake, Mcphee reservoir, or Lake Powell is only 2 hours away. Also only 80 miles from Telluride and Durango mt. for skiing. Also try Montrose, CO also not to far from Telluride and has a nice size lake.- be-400xpdriver

There is no reg. that says VFR climb requirment is 1.6% It is the minimum climb requirment to comply with how the plane was certified part 25, oie 2nd segmant. 2.4% is what the factory test pilots can do with perfect flying and a perfect brand new airplane. The faa figures you are not as good as test pilot (unless you work for xjt) and your plane is not in perfect shape.
