The main difference is the -400 is 10 feet longer than the -300.
Depending on the dash number installed, engine thrust:
-400 23.5 or 22.0 k lbs max
-300 22.0 or 20.0 k lbs max
MGTOW
-300 135.5
-400 150.0
Pretty sure two years would be a record for being in the pool at SWA. When I interviewed the pool time averaged two or three months.
It is interesting to note that LL thinks flight ops will be stepping things up even more than advertised.
Consider looking at the Fedex gouge also. The SWA interview will include a flight scenario component, very similar to FedEx, when interviews begin in the second quarter.
Reserve lines are 15 days on, so you will have 15 or 16 days off.
In a typical month, the most junior lines will have 16 days off and the most senior lines will have 19 or 20 days off.
...you are willing to pick up plus perdiem. Don't forget the raise in Sept.
I just did the math, you'll gross about $53k your first 12 months.
If you pick up nothing you'll make $46K. If you are a wh*re, you can do 60K or more; but because you are gone so much, you'll also be single.
