Like Taking Candy From a Baby!!!

A first class is only good for six months period. The reason you guys go to a year when not carrying passengers is because you are exercising the priveledges of a second class for the second six months. A first is only for SIX months

    Most embarassing moment

Not really embarrasing but still funny: I Did most of my flight training at an airport with a skydive center. Got to know the pilot and most of the people at the jump zone and hung around there more than flight school cause the pilot liked me and let me fly a lot of jump runs with him. One...

    Conquest,Caravan,PC-12,King Air?

Merlin burns less fuel too. Also looks really cool. You can pick one up for under a million with fresh engines and new leather. The usual useful load for a 3B is a little over four thousand pounds which allows 8 pax and about three hrs fuel. With light pax load you can go about two thousand...

    Conquest,Caravan,PC-12,King Air?

I am biased but I like the merlins. I have a little time in a 3B and it is really flexible. I carries a ton of fuel and can take eight pax no problem. Oh did I mention it goes like a bat out of hades.

Take a vote go or stay!

There is no type rating required for the 200 as it is under the 12,500 weight limit. The 350 needs type because of weight. As long as you have CMEL you can log all time in 200 as sole manipulator as PIC nothing dicey about it as long as you are apropriately rated.

    RAA type rating

I have a friend who did the program. He was told "Sorry the airline is not currently hiring" he was given an interview though, to avoid a lawsuit i'm sure. I don't know what your multi is but do some research here and you'll find several companies who are hiring around 600TT. A type rating...

    Speed Limit under Class Bravo

The question was asked by a guy preparing for a checkride probably in a 172. The answers are geared to a CHECK RIDE you have made it perfectly clear you are a fighter jock and no one is duly impressed so you keep ranting. The question was about a regulation so the guy can pass a check ride. If...

    Speed Limit under Class Bravo

Seems you don't have to be perfect just a little early. As long as you have slowed to proper speed prior to going under shelf you are good. You could probably establish the boundaries pretty close with something crude like a cross radial or just ballpark it with an RMI for the purpose of a II ride.

    How is aviator?

Have any of you gone to Aviator in Ft. Pierce for time. I need 100 hrs quick and the price is pretty good. Are their aircraft maintained well enough to get 100 hrs. in a couple of weeks. I would do this locally in a single but it costs more and I may as well get multi for the lower price. Please...
