    DL 401K problems!

Great post, Albie. :) We need more of this kind of support. This profession has definitely turned into "crap on others like you've been crapped on." Makes me sick.

How is life at Champion lately?

Hey StaySeated, By the looks of your avitar, I see you have been paroled or escaped from the asylum of MKE! If so, GOOD FOR YOU! :D I love seeing folks leaving the cookie palace. Some make it out, others just disappear in an avalance of chocolate chips cookies... Good luck with the new gig!

    Serious Question: CAL or FEDEX

Dispell some myths... I'm recent hire with UPS, and, yes, there is alot of night flying, but there is still daytime flying. In my seat, I can hold a day rsv shift (11 am to midnight). Even the night shift is not bad. In my a/c, most trips are 1 leg into a sort, sit 3-4 hours, then 1 leg back...

    UPS Hiring

Congrats Chog! Well, well, well, I see Santa has come early this year! Congrats to Chog, and hopefully everyone else will get a great New Year's present. Hang in there, everyone! We'll get ya here, ASAP. We need more -8 FEs; even though my relative seniority won't move, I'd like see more names...

Southwest off the runway at MDW

That's what's wrong with this board... All of you out there that are making light of this are truly pathetic! For God's sake, wake up! A kid died! I don't care if others make fun of other airlines. Take the higher road for once. As "professionals", some of you are acting like absolute f-in...

Southwest off the runway at MDW

Having flown into MDW many times in snow and good wx, it is ALWAYS a tricky airport. Very short rwys, very heavy snow is a mix that needs everything to go right. And then sometimes, that doesn't even help. Thank God that no one was hurt. Hang in there, my SWA bretheren.

    UPS Hiring

Hang in there, guys! Hey, we haven't forgotten about you guys! From the little tidbits that I've heard in last week or two, only mngt. pilots are being interviewed, and the I think the last 8 people put into the last 2 classes, 6 were mngt. and 2 were line pilots. My numbers may be a bit off...

    ATA Health?

This is great news for all my ATA buds. I wish all of you the best of luck for this new year! I miss flying with you guys. Truly, a great bunch of professionals! I hope this works out! :D

    Midwest Airlines Quality of Life

You did it once again, Chuckalamadingdong... Wow, you are really portraying your airline in a wonderful light with that potty mouth of yours. Oh, yeah, I'm sure you give the "best care in the air" with that wonderful attitude of yours. No wonder no one is defending you. You are the biggest...

    Midwest Airlines Quality of Life

Who is bitching and moaning? I'm just letting people know that you guys at MidEx folded like a house of cards. And, I can be anywhere that I want. Nananana boo boo!!!!!!! :p I also find it funny that you can't refute my assertion about MidEx ALPA. You can knock other ALPA units for what they...

    Midwest Airlines Quality of Life

Look in the mirror there, Chuckie... You know, you proclaim this so prominently and with confidence in the Delta thread. Are you speaking from experience? As I seem to remember, your ALPA unit took it right up the poop shoot as well, and in record time - what, it took a whole 3 days to...

    Midwest Airlines Quality of Life

Yup Chuck, you got it all figured out. You must know exactly who I am, so, can you tell me who I am, because obviously, when I woke up this morning, I thought I was someone else. :erm: So, please, tell us all, what do people say about me? Seeing that you have me pegged, tell me...

    Midwest Airlines Quality of Life

Be careful Thunderchief... Hey Thunder, Be careful of what you say about MidEx.;) Capt. Yogurt will call you a disgruntled, whining crybaby for saying something negative about his beloved airline, even though we are right. Hey Yogurt, truth hurts sometime. O.K. I take that back. Even...

    UPS 1000 Hours PIC Turbine

I'm 99.9% sure that 1000 PIC turbine is a hard min. to get in the door. HOWEVER, if you are lucky, theorhetically (sp) you don't need too much over that to get an interview. If you are very lucky, in the right place at the right time, all the planets are aligned, and have a good letter, you can...

    UPS email?

Holier than thou... Man commuterpuke, With that stellar attitude of yours, you will be a lock for that next UPS class. Why is it so bad to be an engineer? I think it is a blast being one. Yes, I work my butt off (when I actually get called to work), but I personally find it cool to...

UPS MGMT Pilot -- Ready, Aim, Fire!

    Ups poolies

Hey bohnzai, Nice to see that you haven't drowned yet in the pool of brown. I think they are definitely short on crews, except for me on the -8 panel . I can't believe how overstaffed we are, and I don't think as many people are going to retire as the company thinks will whenever the new...

UPS hiring 60+ more before year end, (1500 TT and 1000 PIC)

Guys, You don't need a bunch of letters of rec. If I remember correctly, in my class, no one had more than two letters. Most, myself included, only had 1. If you don't apply and try, you'll never know. At this point in time, interviews are at a trickle at best (unless you want to go to the...

UPS hiring 60+ more before year end, (1500 TT and 1000 PIC)

Hey guys, Just to let you know, there is no weight req. on the 1000 PIC turbine. Mine was in a good ole 1900D. Also, you really only need 1 rec. from either a pilot or a manager-type person. Unfortunately, a box thrower probably won't work. The biggest hurdle right now is overcoming all...

    Midwest or stay at Eagle

Try again, bingo... Hey bingo, Obviously, you don't know me either because you have no idea what in the heck you are talking about. I flew at MidEx (your emphasis) , and if you think about it, the last class that was in groundschool that got furloughed that never made it to the line was a...
