Stay, stay stay, stay.....
I think you are pushing your luck here.
You're flying King Air right seat with 400 hrs.
You have any idea how long it would take you to find something similar?
Try a couple more years and another 1000hrs+.
Even if you can't log it you're flying a 350. DUH...
Change the...
I switch before the run-up so I know both tanks are feeding without a problem.
A student questioned me one time so we timed it; Piper Arrow 40 sec before engine died at idle, might be an idea for every plane you fly, next time before shut down turn selector off and time how long it takes at...
Squawk 7600,
You can confirm by clicking your mike if it still transmits a carrier wave, otherwise by pushing the IDENT button on your transponder.
" Turn to heading 140 confirm IDENT..."
The original full version is a HEINEKEN beer commercial.
It shows a spotter listening to his handheld, you see the plane bounce sveral times, then you hear a PA announcement like; "like you for flying blah blah..blah.."
My votes got to:
1.The Tampa guy, one of the best controllers I've heard in my career.
2. Lady on RSW app/dep, nicest peson to work with if you get all your ducks in a row, will rip even airlines guys a new one if they mess up, she cracks a mean whip sometimes but a very nice voice.
I can't really argue with a whole lot of things in that article.
A "Kathy" came to see us (me) for a job about 4 months ago.
Clueless but 120 hrs CRJ sim in her logbook.
In all fairness, she did say she was only looking for temporary employment since she was a graduate from "Blah Blah" and she...
The boss-man and me are playing with the idea of 135 with a (brand new) C182.
Read through the previous posts and the links and the "Director of operations" seems to be the big hurdle.
One plane, max 4 pilots, single pilot VFR/IFR operations, do we really need a Director of Ops.?
We intend to...
Icing in a single engine piston was probably the scariest experience in my life.
Over the mountains at night in and out of IMC with a airmet for icing issued after we took off.
Should have turned back but we didn't.
We went through one (yes, only one) cloud in a Piper Warrior, we picked up...
Actual and simulated 170 hrs.
On an IFR Flightplan 400hrs, depending how you look 14.25% or 4.25%.
I log all my IFR flightplan time to have some sort of record of recent instrument experience. Put it in a separate column marked IFR so their's no confusion about actual/simulated/IFR FLIGHTPLAN...
Using pure oxygen will seriously lean out the mixture and melt your pistons.
Guys that run nitrous in their cars have two solenoids; one that regulates the flow of nitrous, the other regulates the flow of extra fuel.
More oxygen needs more fuel otherwise meltdown.....
The guy that does...
Trubine time is not gonna get you anywhere...
You might wanna start looking for some TURBINE time..
plenty of mullit heads in the south..
Sorry could not help my self here SPELLCHECK
Try http://www.aopa.org/learntofly/findcfi/
or do a google search, don't be too impressed by NAFI ......
Ask people who they will recommend.
Get a list of examiners in your area from the FAA and ask who they recommend, 'cause they know the results...
