    Swa maintenance issues?

"I've been watching this story closely, but trying to make sense of what we know so far: Southwest contacts the FAA and discloses that .006% of the aircraft skin on some older aircraft missed an inspection. Southwest requests technical guidance on an expedited inspection of the aircraft over...

NWA-Delta Merger = Very few job cuts

I agree, first American and TWA, then Airways and America West. When are they going to learn? Somebody always gets the shaft.

    Airline Safety: A Whistleblower's Tale

Same concerns were brought up after the Alaska crash by the FAA safety inspector there. Sadly, their lack of judgement cost lives.

Avionics Magazine Article on Headsets - Interesting!

They (Bose) have been fighting this for years to no avail. Lackey's product is great and works great with the Bose. They want you to spend the money for their own aviation headset. I don't have one, but when my Senhz die, I will be switching to this after trying them out first hand.

    Bay Area AME.... watch out!

I was refering the the AME, not some University of Phoenix valedictorian answering phones.

    Bay Area AME.... watch out!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you get rejected by one, another one will be unable to issue you one, due to the first AME sending the refusel to the FAA in OKC. That's atleast what I was told once.

    MU2 job info please

Thanks for the offer. I usually just use the occasional OKC-DAL run. The old IBA, was a crazy crazy time and a lot of fun. Wish you were around for all that noise. Sad day when George passed away. OBTW, the cargo nets make great hammacks when you attach the bottoms together on both...

    MU2 job info please

I haven't seen Reese for some time, but he wasn't like that when I was taught with Mall's outfit. Maybe times have changed but I did learn a lot from him. Hmm, wonder who you are at Air1st or formally known as IBA when I was there. This you Dave, John, Chuck or Tom? Oh hell, I'll figure it out...

    MU2 job info please

Two words: Reese Howell. The Mitz god and great instructor. What company is the posting for? I flew the Mitz for about 2 years, but this was late 90's. If they have been around awhile, I'll probably know a little about them. Is this a freight (check hauler) type establishment or charter...
