    Contract Rate on LR31/35

    Different airplane but similar size, I was recently paid $400/day as a Beechjet co-pilot. As a point of reference I was typed in the aircraft but didn't have simulator recurrent or landing currency in the aircraft. This was in the Midwest.

    How much to charge for day pilot services?

    As a gauge, around Texas pretty common numbers I've seen are $400/day for turboprops, $500/day for light jet, and $800/day for midsize jet. I would think $300-$400 for a piston would be fair.

    Wow...how about this apparent lack of judgement

    For non-Baron people the gear and approach flap speed is 152 kts and full flaps is ~120 kts. They weren't even close to that!
