I've been approached by a new aircraft owner to provide aircraft management services as well as flying the airplane when my availability allows. Problem is I have no idea what to charge.

The facts
* King Air 350
* 200-300 hours flying annually
* Part 91
* maintain records
* schedule maintenance
* schedule contract pilots when I'm not available

I'm thinking $1200 monthly for the management fee and 400-450 daily rate for my flying or contract pilot plus expenses.

Any thoughts?

500 / month single engine
1000/ month twin engine
1500/ month turbo twin
2000/ month light jet
2500/month mid sized jet

Hello: I was getting $1500 per month and $350 per day five years ago. King Air 350. This was in the SE part of the country. Have fun.

$1500/month and 400-500/day, ask around the local airports and see what other King Air PIC's are receiving

I would think it would depend on what kind of short leash/on call status the company would require of you. If it's more or less full-time availability, that sounds like a full-time job to me, then the above mentioned numbers would be a minimum. (1500/mo x 12=18,000, plus say 2 days a week at 500/day=50,000 would yield $68K/yr).
