So 31% total company funded retirement in 2014?!?
Brass set? Please Bill. I've seen the narrowbody Delta lines. The bottom line is they blow, especially with no rig. You can spin that however you like.
How about the hypocrisy of Genny touting upgrades, but he sure as hell isn't wading into that nasty schedule (if he where a DL pilot to begin with). The difference between international and domestic at DL is pretty stark. Just look at how junior a narrowbody upgrade goes. Says it all.
I honestly hope Delta makes some headway on the work rules/rigs. Pay looks good. Stability looks good. Retirement is good. Excellent place to be except for those narrowbody domestic lines. I imagine DALPA should be able to make some progress there.
Then jealous Red and Jonny Juan came in to add their nonsense.
Bye Bye---General Lee
Jealous? Dude, you are clinically insane if you believe that.
Jealous of 3 hour sits? Double breasted sub commander jackets? Flying 4 days and only taking home 20 of pay?
I'm glad Delta is doing well. It helps the industry. I had to bail on the stock though, it was sinking like the Sub Commander calling 'full depth'. I'll keep an eye on getting back in when things stabilize. Until then...
Full Steam Ahead Genny!
You have very little understanding of "typical" DL trips. First of all, domestically, there are now very few 3 hour sits. That's on almost every fleet. There are some now and then, but very few now. On the INTL side, there is normally one leg to an INTL destination, a 24 hour layover, and then one leg home. (Next month to Europe there are some 48 hour layovers, and even some 72 hour layovers in Rome) You've left out that side of flying, primarily because you don't have the same. You lack the CHOICE of long haul flying. That's why a guy at DL who is 9957 can hold MD88 Capt, there are thousands that are senior on Widebody planes who LIKE IT, A LOT. That's something you'll never understand, and we know that about you. Oh yeah, you'll say you wouldn't like that, but again you don't have a choice in the matter. You will never fly the plane to Hong Kong. No to Rome, Italy. No to Buenos Aires. And if you didn't like that flying, a domestic seat is just waiting, on several fleets to choose from too. Imagine that...
So, you are jealous. It's very easy to see that. You see a DL A330 in SEA or a DL 744 or 777 in DTW, and you start to feel qweazy, then followed by some flattus. Slider, you stink........ Next....
Bye Bye---General Lee
And now my name is....Barry......allllllriiiiiighty then.....
Bye Bye---General Barry Lee
Effective Jan 1
MD-88 CA=$205.56/hr.
717 CA=$195.19/hr.
Not Bad!
Why not the same? Are these separate fleets?
Yup. Your initials are B.A.A. What else you need to know?
Is it really PFT for hotels at Delta?
