Nope, just more important things to do than attempt to change the mind of an ideologue
You can just be you and view things how you will

Btw- sea world made $459 million last year, so....I'm pretty sure there's good money as a motivator too

Uh, - I'm- the ideologue?

I'm pretty sure that I'm not the one trying to change and control corporations' (not to mention citizens') behavior for political--uh, make that "politically correct"--reasons. That would be you, Wave. Perhaps you might use part of that $1000 to buy yourself a dictionary. Flip to the 'I' section. :D

Excellent, another profitable company. There's a belief among some that a corporation becomes evil or soulless once they show a profit.

I think it's time for a tuna sandwich, dolphin free of course.

As far as rescuing pelicans and other such nonsense, Seaworld does that only as an attempt to rehab their atrocious image problems. They don't get a gold star for rescuing a pelican after torturing whales and dolphins for decades.

Nonsense? Please...

Do you have any idea what you are talking about or just decide to pull stuff out of your arse and act like it's the truth? Do some research first before spouting off about Sea World and the good works they've done. Apparently you have no clue.

Then it will be a dolphin steak, tuna free.

That's the kind of answer I expected from the likes of you. You'll prob have to use harpoons, years of bein rounded up by tunaboats has made them kinda skittish. Good luck.

No, I'm all about profit. But it has to be obtained morally, ethically, and honestly. That's not the case with Seaworld, which is what makes them soulless.

Citizen's united??

Sorry, but in a capitalistic country, which the USA really isn't anymore- but the point remains bc it's even MORE important in an oligopoly- which is what we increasingly are- to vote WITH YOUR WALLET, and hold company's accountable when they don't act to your wishes.

And are you kidding that the right doesn't do this bubba. What, you're too young to remember jerry Falwell??

I'm all about profit too, but don't pretend that this is a nonprofit Salvation Army type organization as many of you are pretending it is.

No it's a cold business and as consumers, we are doing exactly what we should be doing: being conscious and aware of where we spend our money and how that money is then used.

Regardless of one of the most assinine Supreme Court decisions in history- corporations are not "people"
God, that's still such a dumb concept to defend-

It is up to the people to hold corporations accountable- especially when that profit/SWM motive is at odds with our values.

I don't go to SeaWorld for the same reasons I don't go to zoos. It just seems cruel to keep animals in captivity for our amusement.

I will not discount the good that is done for animals by zoos and SeaWorld, but in my opinion that same good could be done without keeping animals in captivity.

That being said, I would never try to shut zoos or SeaWorld down because I personally don't like the fact that they keep animals in captivity. Who am I to say whether it is right or wrong, that is for each individual to decide for themselves.
