I hope the crews would come with the deal. Alot of the CA crews i have associated with haven been hard working pros. An addition of a few hundred pilots would also boost the unions strength at the table.

Unfortunately, CA is down to under 150 active pilots, with quite a few hard core "anti-union" kool-aid drinkers left. Just sayin'.

well, IF the deal happens the Anti-union CA pilots are big boys and can make their own beds. FLOPS LOTS MIGS with a contract that goes to the table soon.....Freeloaders don?t have a Vote, so their thoughts on the matter don?t matter I just hope all the pilots come over, no one wants to see more pilots on the street.

Extremely entertaining, I guess you would allow 1108 to to use their attorneys and just stand by. The NRTW is there to protect all of our rights. From the beginning what turned a lot of us off with your union drive was the name calling on the original web site. Not to mention the individuals in the forefront of your drive. Now as for myself you all know who this is I have always treated everyone with respect, always looked out for all of you gave advice on a lot of issues and was generally concerned with your professional and personal life. Now to hear and now read these ridiculous threads and name calling again towards myself who is working to save your jobs, is dispiccable.

I would hope you all whoever you are would have the nerve to identify yourself and maybe just maybe have an intelligent conversation with me. I am starting get a bad opinion of the intelligence of pilots.

What are you talking about? I know our union is currently in negotiations with CA management. What else would you have the 1108 do?

Hey its politics man. Since, from what I hear, your trying to lead an insurrection against your union over at CA, you should understand how that works. Can't take it personally, if you wanna lead pilots. Unless at the end of the day, its really just about you.

Now this is truly rich. "You've always looked out for all", and are "generally concerned with your professional and personal life." Really? Then why, when you know your pilot group is currently subject to an environment where a merger/acquisition is an imminent possibility, would you advocate casting aside the only friend your pilots will have throughout a process like that, your union. You're attempting to throw them to the wolves because you are concerned about them?

Alright, Sal, here's your chance. Explain in the greatest detail exactly how YOU are going to save MY job. I don't mean use lies and rumor. Spell it out.

When this happens you will be in better position as a non union worker. This organizing effort is the main reason we are in this position. There is no integration in fact I've heard FLOPs is trying the same thing. The NRTW is no different than the national mediation board who are run by left wing liberals. If we get the votes which we have over 50 % cards as we speak they will use every loophole as to not let the pilots majority voice be heard. The NRTW is only advising I am doing this all on my own. Again I have no problem with legitimate questions and discussion. The infantile name calling shows a persons intelligence.

I have been a union employee,I have sat on union councils and have been a union employer. I know how they work and if you think they have your best interest at heart, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. As for the comment

If you truly believe this, then you are beyond having an intelligent conversation on the subject. The union had zero to do with the ********************ty business decisions and writing of contracts that were the downfall of this company.

Sad, because there was a great pilot corps at CA, despite the onerous management they worked under.
