Are you saying we should share our private financial information with a group hell bent on doing us SLI harm?

Why doesn't your MEC just let the chips fall with arbitration? Why are they taking so many manipulating actions that frankly look desperate.

I view it as a prudent and smart move. Your MEC thought it was smart, otherwise why try to block it?

Desperate, well, that's your opinion. To me, our merger committee seems confident, and not at all desperate.

Look, I never wanted this merger to happen, I could of been a captain years ago, unfortunately, we had to downsize for this merger.

The goal was W2s, pretty sure a Goggle search would not of worked.

So why did your union reps attempt to block this request? Especially if it was such a joke?

What, your mec can't figure out our what our hourly rate was and do the math. Is that really your arguement???? So your little snide google search comment has no traction.

We blocked it because it's private information. Some guys, for differenmt reasons, work more or less and THAT is nobody's business but their own.
Is that really that difficult to comprehend? Yes it was a real act of desperation on behalf of the CAL MEC.

Actually your pilots have gone to long lengths to explain that you cannot just do that simple math with a mature contract such as United's. The CAL MC just wanted to be educated since just looking at payrates was deemed not an accurate method of comparing compensation. Remember?

Guess that's like Captains picking up time in the right seat with guys on the street. Not an accurate picture either

Hey at least you guys at UAL kept your cafeteria in the training center, just had one of your furloughs bragging about how much better that is then ours. Funny thing is the furlough forgot that they could afford the cafeteria because you had furloughs not getting paid. I hope the food choices were great.

I am going to leave this thread because no ones opinion but the arbitrators matter but both sides have done what they can to show a good seniority picture because that is their job, there is a lot of precedence for how things are considered and three professional arbitrators are going to pound it out so we can all read it. If it is fair it sucks for every one, there is nothing about combining two airlines that is going to make every one happy so good luck hope we don't argue about fairness for the next 25 years.

That request was a joke. Any common Joe with internet access could find the payrates. It was nothing but a desperate attempt by CAL to try and gain an edge in the ISL because they know they need one. An embarrassing moment for the CAL foks.

Actually not. It's exactly what I would expect from a merger committee that was representing me or anyone else. The fact that disclosure was fought so hard will not go unnoticed by the Arbitrator(s).

Might not look so bad to them compared CALs dragging negotiations on to facilitate more bids, demanding banding 767 and 787 with the 747 and LOA25. Hardly comparable.
