Guess you’re right.

G4dude, for the sake of mankind, you should stop stirring things up and making people nervous. You must conform and not ruin careers and futures. Superior intellect knows what is best and their direction must be followed. Dues are being paid for their insight…and travel and entertainment expenses to Vegas and other suitable cities for them to pontificate on the members well being.

Yeah..... Seriously, do you think you are actually going to create feelings of distrust amongst the membership by stirring up illusions of corruption? Does that tactic actually work?

I know, I know. Conformity MUST be enforced at all cost. :) By the way, the Future Strikers of America always accuse me of endangering their jobs, while never understanding the flip side, which is that I believe a STRIKE endangers our jobs. The good news is a strike doesn't seem remotely possible, as we are being treated very well, it seems to me. Happy Thanksgiving to all, even the Crazies.

Expressing an opinion..no problem

Expressing an overwhelming willingness to SCAb. = A cancer to the entire NJA pilot group, and professional aviators throughout the US. His opinion was just that, right up to the point a while back when he publically decided he would scab. He gives the rest of NJA a bad name just by being there.

Sorry, I believe the strikers would be the cancer to the entire NJA group. Just sayin'. If you leave your job voluntarily, you should be fired. If you endanger my employer by striking, unless for a really compelling reason, I and my friends will continue to try to keep the company in business. So who is the cancer?

True only in a Public (Government Union)

But in no way true of a union that supports employee's in a (Private Company). The employees have every right to strike (and whatever happens thereafter).

You are right. They have the right to strike. I have the right to continue to go to work.

Ok then

I say you should be paid 55 grand with no bennies and work an 8 on 7 off schedule and you will go to recurrents on your days off

Enjoy

I wouldn't work for that. I want to negotiate my own deal with NJA and leave you free to negotiate your own deal. I want you to be free to strike in protest without coercing me to do the same.

Yes

We will pay you 55G with no Bennies

Thats your deal.. take it or leave it

They can stay stateside as there seem to be a good number of G positions advertised in the corporate world lately......and yet, here they stay.

If working in a union shop is so bad then why aren't you gone already?

NJA is still really good. The union behaves better than I expected, a lot better. The job security here is better than anywhere else, probably. The only problem I see in the future is if there is a strike down the road, which I do NOT expect. I enjoy this job a lot more than my friend Gutshotdraw does, for instance, who is a very good pilot and an all around good egg. I hope everyone here on this message board enjoys his/her job as much as I do.

From everyone who supports NJASAP and would stand behind their brothers...your welcome:rolleyes:...

For someone who's disliking of Unions has been notorious for the better part of 2 years. It sure seems that every thing you enjoy now.. IE Job security, pay, benefits, QOL on the road..... Is a direct result of being part of the Union.. Do you think your 401k, medical benefits, quality of hotels, quality of crew meals, pay, schedule, training days, would have remained intact if you weren't in a union?

If your pondering the answer I'll help you out. They wouldn't have remained the same.. Especially when Sokol took over..

BTW, if you do decide to take that $200K job, (which I sure hope you do), pray to god the company doesn't experience financial hardship. I assume your not that dense to not know what departments get hacked the quickest when things turn sour.

Good grief
