I do NOT understand why these ATL pilots think they can swing the ATL-DTW commute! If I had the chance to live in base, even on reserve, I would do it in a heartbeat! I have never known that feeling and can only hope to someday. Commuting takes years off your life, why do it if you don't have to!? Especially THAT commute!

I've done both and trust me anything you can do to live in base is worth it.
 
I don't get that the 4 or 5 junior Capt's already in DTW got kicked out. There were more vacancies than displacements. So how did that happen?

Vacancies awarded by seniority, then displacements from ATL knocked the junior guys out of DTW.
